      Yes pvp side of that kinda systems are challenging but none ever tried. I believe its not because of balance issues, i think its because of technical issues.. But well for me, if i had a chance to bring hardcore sandbox elements with arpg style combat which i believe its not impossible i would just do it..

      btw i wanna underline something : i dont mean by arpg that hack'n slash is a must. Hack'n Slash is just a type of realism into games that is needed. But Albion online style combat also good but theres such less combinations.(weapons/armors as skills) So my advice is ment to solve the problem that i hope so.

      Variation you can create in the game but if you can succeed the player to create variation then you got it. Thats my philosophy

      Hello Fractured team. I dont know about your gameplay philosophy at the moment but i wanna advice something that is like a treasure in game world here.

      In games like rpg, arpgs and mmo kinda games there we pick classes and classes have skills. Please dont define skills as "skills". What do i mean?

      Theres only 1 game could ve succeed to break that stereotype and its Path Of Exile in my vision. What path of exile did and other games not? If you played path of exile you see there some kinda "skill gems and support gems" system. I dont care about skill gems but imagine about that as a visual coding system inside a game. There Skills and you can Shape the Skills by that Support Skills not only effectively but also visually. You can support a projectile skill and make it goes like 3-5 and its improved visually and effectively. But thats not enough. They added some more like on-kill-trigger on-critical-trigger and on-something-trigger support gems. And that provides combining two different skills into one effect. And its also visually improves the experience.

      Here my advice : You can build kinda system like that! but do more and improve it. I mean improve more different code combinations. For example let players "code" a projectile skill and make it visually liquid so now its a chaos-type-damage was and went into liquid damage type* now you can throw it on the ground and it lasts on the ground like 3-4 second but damage is less... etc etc.

      Hope you liked my write. I would like to hear your thoughts

      i mean in the game there rivers and kinda stuff like mountains and etc.
      as the streams i watched for test phases. I thought like rivers are ment to be nothing. They dont change anything or worth anything to be near or far.

      my question is, do you think to add any kinda random elements like falling rocks from mountains or you lose your balance in river and getting some damage also be dragged for some long meters. And animations for these would be feeling a bit more living world

      Its just and idea and can be shaped. Actually all of them also can be an invidual guild. I mean lets say trade guilds are wealthy people but they need mass power. They go for power guilds and do alliance with them to defend their town or sth.

      Another example, A missionare guild does agressive racist fights between other guilds or attack towns. But they are poor. They get secret finances from a trade guild and kinda..

      Another example, an empirial guild that focus on peace and fight against missionares and gets a good deals with one or more trade guilds. So maybe these kind of guilds also try to control towns and territories and do some political movements.

      In addition there maybe bandit guilds that attack people randomly. And they be deserted from other towns so they create a bandit town for themselves.. i just dont know many things can be happen so just imagine and say that why not..

    • Guild Types

      I always imagined about something like that since Albion. Would you mind making that there some guild types and these guild types completes an alliance in different aspects.

      for example, Trade Guilds(more trade focused players join), Race Guilds(missioner guilds), Imperial Guilds(open all races), Power Guilds(can be recuited by other guilds) and kinda.. If you make a good synergy between them i think it would be fine and rpg based fun... so this is just a thought. What you think?

      Will there be map notifications? I mean pinning map for Guild, Party or For yourself.

      It should be categorized for different groups(guild,party,friends or only for yourself).

      Also there should be forever pins unless you remove them. And instant signals. Or maybe some notifications that when you press on them. A textarea shows the message of who puts it in there.

      So just asking..

      I asked yesterday about if there will be any secret guild system or sth. From that idea i wonder about this spray idea too. Will there be any open world Spray or Sign thing be put on anything?

      Example : There could be some kind of spraying tools and spray remove tools. So people would work together to remove sprays in a specific area like roleplay. And some secret organisations may do some secret meetings and do their sprays in that place....
