    • RE: PvP Fight Duration

@Shivashanti It could however this then impacts PvE as well. This is why it's nice to have PvP specific values on skills. As this was not implemented from day 1 it becomes difficult to do so going forward.

Some games add specific PvP stats such as resilience in WoW. I'm not a hug fan of it but it could be an option.

@Specter OOOOOOHHHH! Spicy! I like it!

I think that could be our easy to implement option. Spend Knowledge Points to earn a SINGLE Attribute Point respec. This way we can spend 5000 Knowledge Points and remove a single point from 1 attribute and put it in another without needed to respec the entire thing.

    • RE: Physical Immune enemies should be removed.

@FibS There is no reason you should have to carry around an extra set of gear in case you come across immunity to your only damage type. It's tedious, it's not challenging. This is game design 101. Tedious does not = difficulty.

I still wonder what is wrong with just having the ability to "add to stats" instead of respecting them? I can see them having that added and still keep to their D&D ways, since that is actually in D&D.

Because then you would be getting ADDITIONAL stats which is a completely different topic. You aren't changing how you allocated your points.

@FibS Except you will never get their abilities or complete their journal entries.

@FibS I think 1000 is low but it's a step in the right direction.

The one problem would be running out of KP and having no way to obtain more.

I think when you 100% an enemy in the journal we would need to still gain KP but perhaps at a MUCH reduced rate like 20% of the normal amount per kill?

We need a STRONG reply here from @Prometheus stating "We will NEVER sellout." or something along those lines.

Discuss issues that are in the game currently. That's the goal. What the current state or focus of the game is doesn't matter to me. I want to get this information out there as something we need to address.

      Thats all i said 😉

Maybe just give here your experiences, your ideas, your suggestions, without feeling offended,

I have never been offended in my life...let alone by a forum post that disagrees with me lol.

Also...melee or caster will always be a thing considering there are spell restrictions based off equipped armor types.

    • RE: Physical Immune enemies should be removed.

@Kralith Then we need to fix what triggers contribution to earn KP. Having to change your build from melee to caster for it is not balanced.

@BlueGoblin said in Physical Immune enemies should be removed.:

If you have physical attack immune enemies.. then there should be magic immune enemies as well. Correct?

Right? There would have to be for balance.

@Ostaff I agree 100%. My preferred is no cash shop. I am understanding though if the time comes where it's either that or shutting down the servers.

@Ostaff I was thinking maybe earn ONE attribute respec point every so much KP or something along those lines.

This way we don't have to inflate the attribute point total you have.

This is a survival old school type game where everything is not just handed to you.

Lol. I am the last person to ask for things to be simplified.

The current system sets players old and new up for failure. It doesn't compliment the knowledge system at all and honestly ruins what they have.

@Ostaff said in Why we need attribute respec options.:

      Just train more.

Not an option. Your attributes are set in stone.

Still, once they add the ability to adjust your stats with more enchants, I think you can get what you want that way.

You would still ALWAYS be weaker than if you allocated the attributes properly AND enchanted for the additional attributes.

@Ostaff said in Why we need attribute respec options.:

No one will get character creation perfect on their first try. Its why we can make more characters and delete some if needed.

And 100 hours into your character when you find abilities you NEED for your build that scale with different attributes? Just delete that character and start over?

500+ hours into your character when they add additional abilities with updates that scale with attributes that you have very low points in...just start a new character?

There needs to be an option to respec attributes. It's really a no brainer.

On the topic of additional character slots. I think that needs to go. You should OWN your character and name. You are ONE character, ONE alignment, ONE guild. The ability to spy is too great and this game's competitive scene will suffer for it.
