      Please do not confuse Alpha with Early Release, most companies do not leave alphas running 24/7... not even Amazon does that, and especially not indie companies, like Dynamight Studios, which do not have the funds to be able to do so.

      With that said, this company provides Alphas every quarter which last for an entire month (that's 2 months down time), and each release has substantially grown since the last one. Sometimes, they even open them up for a weekend which they did twice during the end of last year and that start of this one.

      @Kralith Aye. I am all for one toon not being able to do everything or even have the ability to be the best at everything. I think players should be forced to group or use different styles sets or toons in order to do some content. Vanilla coverings suck and remove creativity. So I am full throttle with what Prometheus said 🙂

      @jasconine Ack. You are right, these all add up to at least 2 in every attribute stat not 5. I used 2 instead of 5 for the total. Time to change it. According to my code, there are no 5 reagent combinations where all attributes add up to a min of 5 across the board for each required attributed of Magic Resistance (Body, Negate, Energy, Knowledge), though some did come close.

      Totally agree with both you and @Kralith 😄 The packaging center could be done better, and I also think that the window should stay open like our Inventory and Chests do when we access them, why should we have to constantly go back to opening it after we already have?

      I think those wonderful people who spend their time building those nice firepits next to our main killing zones should be rewarded somehow... maybe... they could add a "tax" for using their firepits that will go to the owner? This will make viable "outer city inns and taverns" a thing 🙂

      We are suppose to "Gain" karma for hurting Evil players and "Lose" karma for hurting Good players. So anything other than that is a bug.

    • Crafting Stations and Processing Stations

      Crafting stations of all kinds need to be removed from residential plots. Crafting stations should ONLY be available from a city (those without a city can use the Starter Towns)

      Processing stations should only be in residential plots or more control permissions will need to be given specifically to processing stations. As it is, the only reason to use a city wide processing station is if the player literally does not care for what they are making; Otherwise, the player will process inside of their own residential plot where than have more control over who can use it.

      The current setup is a major flaw in the game. Why did they put this in? It completely negates the city's control permission on the crafting stations being used in the city.

      We may be looking at this in the wrong way as well... If we break to the core, we can better understand the mentality for each world I believe.

      To me, PvP players want to PvP because there is more challenge to killing an actual player rather than a mindless mob. To me, these are the true player vs player players. These people will also choose Tartoros because it will give them the best players to fight against as they will all be skilled players.

      For the people who literally do not like PvP, these people will choose Arboreus as there is no PvP on that planet.

      Now... Syndesia. If the people who like PvP go to Tartoros and the people who do not like PvP at all go to Arboreus, then who is left on Syndesia?? The people left here are 1) Those who like to PvP with their PvE. and (this next one is the crutch) 2) The Gankers. People who are unskilled at killing players and therefore get their highs from griefing other players who hold the least amount of abilitiy to hurt them. This means training mobs to the group, attacking a group while they are engaged in fights with mobs, and killing noobs. I believe we can ALL say that these are the players who give PvP a very bad name and nobody (except themselves) actually like.

      Currently, everyone is having to play on Syndesia due to the lack of the other systems being in placed, however once those other planets are opened... I think Syndesia will be like I mentioned above. Due to this, a tough crime system does need to be in place to keep the "gankers" in control, however it should not penalize true pvpers who are not ganking but actually doing pvp properly. (One reason I like Lineage's and AoC's method for handling griefing)

      So with this in mind, maybe we can come up with a better system that works for Syndesia now.

    • Removal of Open World PvP to Syndesia, Adding of Guild Warfare and Politics

      so how about this suggestion. Make Syndesia all about guild politics.

      Guild members will only be able to kill members of guilds that they are hostile or neutral towards.
      Cities are either Guild owned or Alliance Aligned, and in order to siege a city you must first declare war upon that guild or Alliance.
      Only the guilds/alliances involved are able to attack or defend.

      Unguilded players can either be free for all or untouchable depending on how the community thinks they should be treated.

      Aye.. but it definitely would be a completely different Gamestyle than the other planets. Which Fractured is suppose to be about. As it is, there really isn't much difference between Tartoros and Syndesia. Even with a crime system, its still the same thing. Open World PvP.

      I am not so sure that its too late... there is a TON of CORE mechanics that they don't have implemented yet. Beta should NEVER start until all the core aspects of the game have been implemented, in my opinion.

      Also, I do like @LonelyCookie 's suggestion as well... we can use the shorter tests to flush out the majority of the bugs so that when the Main tests open everything is much more streamlined and those should be as wide opened as possible. If the game actually "Works" for the most part it will BRING back those gamers, and it would be our responsibility as backers to report all the bugs we can find to ensure that the main alpha has as little bugs as possible and therefore a "good" impression on the new people.

      @Meiki Aye. I agree. That's also one reason I never listen to rants or praise only videos. I only watch the folk that actually tell me how the game actually plays from a neutral stand point and let me decide if I actually like what's presented or not.

      They have real nice holding cells as well!! Mine came stocked with a bed and a pillow!!!!! heck, even @Alexian gave me some of his nice silk sheets and quilts to use!!! I still can't believe he left them laying there for anyone that happened by to take... I mean.. it was a very good thing that I safe kept them in my cell with me instead of letting a roaming scoundrel steal them right off his bed, right?
