      @asspirin Aye, also I would see bandages more as a way to mostly stop bleeding and not actual healing. Bandages really don't heal anything after all, they just help keep wounds clean so that they are able to heal better.

      Potions would be nice to have like a toxicity limit on, the more you drink the drunker you get or something? So even though they may heal someone faster they also come with a down side. They need more than just a crafting cost associated with them I believe.

      Skills and spells of course can be balanced out in so many different ways, and only work in certain situations or against specific things.

      Sorry Szai, I think you are wanting a pure open loot PVP system. The devs have flattenly said there will be no such thing. They are only going to do FvF (Faction vs Faction) not PvP. with looting. So, that 1% definitely will not come to be.

      With that said, I've played the game and love it, as do several others from what I have seen. The only downers are the ones who want to be able to gank everyone. The only real problem New World has at the moment is not enough content and lag problems (especially during Portals and Invasions) even with a reduced player base. The fact that they did not go ahead and release like so many others would have, says a lot about their commitment to the game.

      Also, they have stated that the 7 day trial coming up on August 25th will NOT BE under NDA, though any Alpha tests they have later will be.

      I've always wanted to code a mmo where there are no static spawn points and mobs (and npcs in general) actually breed themselves 🙂 Of course, with this approach players would do a realm genocide and make it so no mobs could breed 😞 Which means I would have to create "gates" at random places for invasion of the "mobs" 🙂

      Cause its different and interesting. It is not P2W. It plans to offer lots of different types of play styles and things to keep me interested (ie. non-combat related systemss that hopefully will be fulfilling and complex enough to keep me entertained).

      and of course... have you seen their PETS??!!! OH MY GAWD!!!! Fiery Pandas to me! Oh, and Cats, and Foxes!! Sooo cute!! can't help but to try to pet them all

    • What are the "Optional" choices you would like to see in the next test?

      They said that they may be able to add 1 or 2 at most (if any) "optional" things to the next test.

      Our options are:

      1. The city market, a building to trade items for citizens and non-citizens.
      2. A first iteration of the city tech tree.
      3. Ability leveling.
      4. A proper pet system to tame beasts to fight at your side.
      5. Trolls and their encampments – several new PvE hotspots.

      Which options do you think the devs need to work toward adding?

      My two choices would be: 1) A proper pet system to tame beasts to fight at your side. and 2) A first iteration of the city tech tree.

      That was for enchants on equipment, not for Talents. Equipment can be changed at any time so their stats will never be Natural Stat bonuses, but merely bonuses. Talents on the other hand will only be able to be set during resting (same as memorizing skills) so it is feasible that they could give Natural Stat bonuses since to change talents you would in regards also have to change your memorized skills. They will have to make it so that talents are handled before memorization though, in order for this to work.

      Also @asspirin the most important thing about Natural INT is the ability to memorize more skills as GorTavaro stated.

      Why would it have to be gold? They could set the city market up as a bartering station instead. Which I think would be a nice thing to have. Trading Resources for Resources, material for material. It would take a bit more thought and effort to implement, but I think it would be great feature to have 🙂

      No, the opposite. The governor is only the guild leader if the guild leader is a governor. The way they have it now, even though a Governor may be a part of a guild, if that governor decides to leave the guild, they can take their entire city with them. Because, the city is not guild bound.

      Well, it does look like "Trolls" have the upper hand from these feedbacks. Second, by a minor fraction seems to be Ability Leveling. 🙂

      Personally, on a developer note.. I would like to see their Market Place GUI. So no need to code it, just show us what to expect. 🙂
