That's actually how they are trying to design the game They are trying to make it so that nothing is capable of handling everything but is better at some things than others. Creating Diversity where everything has its weak spot that can be exploited.
If you like fried chicken..then NO.. this game is ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH PLAYING!! as I have tried multiple times to make fried chicken in-game and I have YET to get even ONE crispy finger tender! Heck, I even tried getting fried Horse! I have thrown fireball after fireball after the horses I have seen in-game and never once have I been able to get a single piece of crispy meat from them sigh.
Now, if you like grilled wolf, venison or bear.. then YES!! This is definitely the game for you as those come in steady supply!!!!
It's just the chicken!!! whine
And strange.. oh boy... do you find strange things in this game... I mean.. I could have sworn I one time saw a feminine peach wearing a McDonald's outfit running by me while resting at my campfire!
Heck.. I even saw a gibbx once, and I have no clue what one of those things are either!!!!
No. We do not believe in Magic... therefore we are instead using Mystical Arts Going Insanely Crazy, as we do believe in fairies and the arts.
TSE will be having a public version out soon, though doubtful it will be in time for the End of the Year event, it should be ready by the Winter PvP test though.
The enchantment finder at http://theshadowempire.net/public_enchantments.php has now been updated with the full list of Enchantments and Enchantment Combinations. We have added the ability to load/show only specific Tiers and hovering over the Total column will now show what Matches where found and what tiers they were matched at.
Note: Tier 1s may be a bit slow as they will now show the first 400 matches and not just the fist 10.
(Of special note: There are more than 1.3 million possible combinations available with all but 2024 combinations being Tier 1s. This is why Tier 1s will take longer to load )
Personally, I would choose Baldur's Gate III, Dark Souls III, Dragon's Dogma, Pillar's of Eternity over any MMO for solo play. Those are games geared toward a solo player with the ability to add in "friends" or others on a casual basis. MMO's in my opinion are meant to be played in groups, its why they are Massive Multiplayer games... so even though there may be a few occasional times where I may go at it alone in a MMO due to time restraints or other.... I find the best experience of MMOs actually coming from the comradery with others and building something much bigger than I could do alone. It's like going to an amusement park alone versus going to one with friends... yeah.. sure.. yipee... amusement park rides may be alright when riding them alone or with complete strangers, but they get much much more interesting and fun when you actually go there with friends! Same for cruises and experiences in general. Why sell yourself short? When something is ment to be shared and experienced with others... do so. The experiences are just that much more satisfying.
That is indeed what a MMO is suppose to be. A game where you have fun with "friends", rather they are people you already know or people you met while playing the game and got to know.
Playing with "people" is what makes an MMO fun!!!!
