      Aye, that was the first suggestion I had thrown stated above. However, things that will need to be taken into consideration and addressed with that method is that there will need to be a way to "override" the permissions so that a city official can also remove the final product if the need arises or if the material has been left too long thereby taking up valuable space needlessly. That was the reason for the second suggestion of having an NPC deal with it, and then the npc would be task with the "removal" and possible "auto" auctioning of the final product. In this manner, a queue could also be formed so keep a player from having to physically wait at the crafting station for their chance to place the material. The NPC route would not take a player's actual effort to keep the crafting station running smoothly, however, it also bring in a different potential of abuse from players queing too much at one time and removing the actual "player" aspect from the crafting station which is also a negative as well.

      Of course, both suggestions have drawbacks as well as their pros.

      You will ONLY be able to do crafting within a city. There is no crafting on a home plot outside of a city. You do not have to "live" within a city, but you will need to be "a part" of a city in order to craft anything worth while.

      So in that respect, there will be no "solo" crafters and thus no reason for a "solo" miner.

      With that part said, there was a lot of "crafting thievery" going on at the start of the last alpha where non-citizens could "steal" from a cities crafting bank... this was thankfully fixed.. however.. it never did deal with "citizen" thievery... which I think the devs will have to come up with a way to handle.

      Some of the thoughts thrown about in this regards was that "only the setter of the materials could remove the finished product" and to have a npc used for the actually placing of the materials and which would keep track of who placed what.

      I support anything that increases the versatility and complexity of anything related to crafting and enchanting 🙂 I think it would be nice to have a lot more differences added into the materials used in crafting as well. They already have a touch of "different materials give bonus results", but I would like to see the materials used actually effecting the actual base stats of the item being made as well. It's resistances, durability, looks... all being based on the materials used and the ability to mix materials when creating it.. Ie. instead of all direwolf pelts, the ability to mix warg pelts with direwolf and regular leather to create a piece of chest armor that is different than one made fully with one type of pelt, and for each of those materials not to have just a bonus "+% frost resistance" but a "+/- slash", "+/- crush", "+/- pierce" etc.

      I definitely like the idea of mixing in negatives with positives so that you have to mix materials to even out the negatives, and the same would go for the reagents as well. The easier an item is to get, I believe the more negatives it should have.

      A great example of this is the crafting system used in The Saga of Ryzom that came out in 2004 and is now known only as Ryzom. It literally has the best crafting system I have ever seen in any MMORPG, and its the main reason that the mmo has retained much of its player base. It crafting system is just unparalleled to any other system out there, and is almost impossible for two crafters to make the exact same item.

      Personally.. I am very attached to my skin. I can't imagine walking around each day without it. I'd feel.. kinda... um.... exposed... I suppose without it? 🙂

      In regards to the packs.. I really don't see why they need to do anything with the packs anyhow... yes, they are having a sale right now... all companies have sales... it should be expected even though for some reason people seem to be taking this differently than anything else in life and complaining that they bought it at full price... (face palm). Packs really aren't meant to be changed. The change that they did to the two packs they did change were very minor and only done so that they could allow more people to play without having to giving out so many thousands of keys each time. (which they probably still will)..

      With that said.... even though I do not support "changing" packages... I do support "adding" more packages, which will more than likely only affect the entry into the Beta phase now at a lower cost than the alphas but with an equal or greater price of the actual game when being sold at release.

      I believe their statement about new players being able to stand with veterans mostly applies only to PvE situations. With the game the way it is, it is possible to outfit a new player with good gear and have them be able to go out fighting monsters with you, and gain the knowledge at a team member without too much fear of being totally trampled.

      In regards to PvP, I just don't they ever will be able to for the simple fact that a new player just doesn't know the mechanics nor will they have the versatile skill set needed to compete.

      As @Kralith said, we don't know for sure, however we an speculate from some of the screen shots that they have given us that there will be 5 levels of each ability, the 1st level being the acquisition of the ability from the creature, then the next two are finding out more information about that ability from either "studying" the ability or finding symbiotic items for the ability, and the last level I believe has to do with a quest.

      I don't know for sure where it is, but if you look through all the material that they gave us originally in the News articles, you should come across it.

      Yes. There is currently only 1 map available to us and that is Myr on the human planet Syndesia. Therefore we are only allowed human characters.

      They have yet to install any dungeons, so I can not say about what we will find there; however, there are no chest, barrels, boxes to open in the wild. They are only found in the cities and are filled by other players.

      Also, I think the magical drops are magical material drops, though mobs do drop fully made healing potions and poisons at times.
