currently there are no plans on making a different skill between PVE vs PVP. They all use the same exact skills. With that said, other than RACE, the determining factors for a Tank build will be High Con, High Str and Skills (which do not know but a very small fraction of them at the moment, so it does no good to mention them here.)

Sounds bland doesn't it? but no, I would think a seasoned player would kill a newbie still. The game is knowledge or skill based instead of level based.

I'm confused how you'll make Mage good when the current meta of 100% magic resistance + 100% ice resistance will negate a mage to do no damage in pvp.

if you're talking about PvE. current mage is only good if their is a fire nearby and they still are equal to melee in dps.

If they actually end up leaving those 100% resistances in the game, they will definitely be the first thing that everyone runs to. So, hopefully they will be adjusting those skills when they start to do their balancing.

@GorTavaro sorry, was not meaning with in-game mechanics. The one problem with this type of mechanic (which has been tried in other mmos) is that they are just worked around on the outside of the game. So regardless if the game allows to have alliances between certain guilds, the guild members themselves know the alliance exists and will adhered to it.

@GorTavaro What you will see is a bunch of alt guilds or sub-guilds for the main guild that are allied with each other.

@Koui None of us really know that as of yet, as the game is stlll in its Alpha testing stage. However, from spotlight articles the tank types for each races are "NHEEDRA (BEAR-KIN)" for the Beastman, "HELLFIRE DEMONS (INFERNALS)" for the Demons, and Humans are just jack of all trades.

Beastman are Primary PVE, and Demons are Primary PVP.

@Prometheus has already stated that every party member will get knowledge points for a kill. They just did not have the mechanic implemented for the alpha test is all.

@grofire I think a mininum of 5 is required for a "hamlet", so a small city would need around 15 to 20 at least It hink.

@Razvan I agree, the main reason I leave games that I love for a long time is that they just have no end game (or just plain end). All the fun left once you hit the top and had nowhere else to go but, well, grind or literally just socialize.

Reason I think I will like Fractured is because of their city governship politics, and the more distinct and fun diversity they add to the game, the longer it will take me to hit the end. It's not always about adding new content, but adding some fun replayable aspects that can try to make it feel like a new game when doing it a multiple of times.

@dj35 I liked all of the anime listed, including all three SAOs that you wanted to call shitty. The third one (Alicezation), I think is getting real good. (Note: I don't consider that gun slinging girl one to be SAO at all)

The first Dragonball, was totally hillarious, Dragonball Z of course has always been known to be one of the best action anime even though very drawn out, and you can't forget Berzerk in there or movies... like Ninja Scroll.

That is all explained in the Spotlight article they sent out a long time ago, https://fracturedmmo.com/feature-spotlight-2-universe-planets-travels/ look at the Travel section near the end. Docks use portals to travel, Prometheus has said.

@Zori that is a bug that they are aware of. Let @specter know and he may add you to the appropiate groups like he did myself and another.

@Zori None of the published maps are the map that they use in alpha testing. Only someone that has actually screenshot the in-game map would have it.
