I have quite a few applicants to my town for Alpha 2 (test starting March 31st 2021) and I do not mind adding people, but would like to get to know you first. Feel free to reach out to me here in the forums or in discord (username Plume) if you would like to work together and make an interesting town. Joining our guild is not required, although I would prefer citizens be communicative and cooperative regardless of guild.

Very well said Polaris. I find the jump from beginning content to the most advanced mobs currently on the map currently very disconcerting for tutorial content. Hopefully your feedback makes this a little easier on future players.

One suggestion I might make is an optional tutorial or a taskboard of some type in the starter town that outlines certain features of fractured that are not easy for beginners including items like the map icons or even combat that is less intuitive such as hovering the mouse for aiming.

The bug reports subforum might have a higher chance of getting a response!!

If you are looking for playable content, I suggest checking out some of the streams going on right now as well as the post announcing what features are available to test. This is a alpha and we are doing testing, it's not an early access that you would expect a lot of content to explore in. The devs add a little at a time as they work on their templates that will be used to further expand the world later.

If you are looking to support an amazing project with a high chance of success led by devs still working despite the quarantine in Northern Italy, and maybe get a few items out of it, it's worth it 10/10 times.

@Jetah It's less an attempt to hide it, and more that I don't feel qualified to create a public guide. I can try, but that will have to happen tomorrow.

For now, here are some quick resources.

1. The Official Quickstart Guide
   Hit record, but not stream, per the guide.
2. 
   This video is not high quality, but keeps to the point. Primarily, it shows someone using the program and manually adjusting some settings.

1. Unable to drag skills from the skills and abilities window
   As it sounds. I wasn't able to use the poison blade skill since I couldn't place it on my hotbar. I learned the skill from the spiderling, unlocked it with KP, and added it to my preset at the campfire.

2. Accidentally equipped my poison to my ammo slot on my character window
   Not only did this make me unable to equip arrows, it made my character model on the character window show as a default male with no equipment. This escalated the next time I logged in.

It wasn't possible to open windows in addition to the obvious issues in the image above, I couldn't open windows with key shortcuts including esc.

The second attempt to play the Tilde character had the world load correctly, but had numerous graphical issues as seen above.

Fighting an animal caused the character window to look normal, except for the male character model. The endurance/health/mana bars started refilling from zero until they reached a reasonable level. The energy and food bars remained abnormally full, and most crafting stopped just before completion. Other characters seemed to work as normal

@Kralith I also use OBS. You don't have to stream to record, although that does help with sharing the videos. It is kind of weird and unintuitive at first, so dm me if you'd like some help setting it up? The finished product is worth it.

@Dariusacmar You were able to replace your Vista machine then? I'm so happy for you! Hopefully the win7 patch is out soon so you can play.
