      Well, we are as well! 😉 Player cities in Fractured will be much more than conglomerates of player houses with some shops built here and there - but you'll have to wait little for a full dev journal on the topic!

      Yes, you're subject to the rules of that planet, which don't include only PvP rules and the "criminal system", but also racial buffs / debuffs, and more. Tartaros is probably even more than the "rogue planet" you're suggesting - it has open PvP and zero consequences for criminal actions.

      The fact mounts have different speeds (and other stats as well) doesn't mean you'll be able to buy faster/stronger ones in the store :slight_smile: You only buy skins in the store, which can entail dramatic changes to the look of a type of mount, but not to its power!

      We expect most will grow to small/medium sized and stop there because they will be controlled by a single guild. However, there are spots in the world where a city can grow much more than that. It will be up to the players really - if several large guilds can get together to form an alliance to manage a town, you'll be able to see real a metropolis 🙂

      To put it briefly, the process of learning crafting recipes is close to ability learning - which was covered here. Therefore, just like with abilities, your character can learn any recipe in the game - you don't have to go into "trees"! We'll have a couple spotlights dedicated to crafting specifically in the future with everything explained in detail :slight_smile:

      Eheh ok, sorry, now I get it. We'll try to avoid this as much as possible, but examples like the one you've just made might and will happen. Notice however that even if the two abilities you mentioned had the same overall effect ("e.g. cone damage in front of you"), they could differ in many other ways: width and length of the cone, casting time, mana cost, type of damage dealt, interruptable or not, total damage, single damage or repeated, channeling or not, stacking with STR or INT... and the list could go on. Enough parameters to make them both relevant in different builds and contexts :slight_smile:

      @30Thrd thanks for the feedback, that's always appreciated, even more when it's so gently put :slight_smile: A question for you since you've mentioned PoE. In PoE, you can zoom in very close to your character. What type of zoom you need for immersion purposes? As for the animations, don't worry - game balancing will come later on, nothing in those clips is final in that regard. That summoning ability you've seen is a Channeling spell though - they have longer casting times and can be easily interrupted. It's what makes them hard to use - that's not the only one! :slight_smile:

      That's a good approximation, yeah. However, the "summoner" or "necromancer" gameplay isn't necessarily linked to playing as a "mage" (casting spells from afar, lots of INT) :slight_smile:

      It's to make it more viable to lower a stat below 10, given the penalties for doing so are quite heavy. You made an example of a character with 6 PER and CHA - that's one who would have a hard time doing PvE (can't identify items, has very bad luck) and in PvP would be smashed by any half-decent user of Assassination and/or Illusionism. Doesn't mean it's not a viable character, but very unbalanced 🙂

      Hi neomurdoc! Fractured won't have a "conventional" faction system. However, the three races are in many ways factions already. Demon guilds will likely team up when it's time to invade other planets, Beastmen as well when it's time to protect Arboreus, and so on. Humans, well - you never know about them 😉

      No, it's not an exploit. I agree it's a despicable behavior, but there is no bug being abused there.

      There is a big difference, the Karma change for just attacking is minimal. Anyway, if you want to raise your Karma, temple offerings, divine quests and PvE is the way to go. "Hunting" Evil players is secondary.

      It has a better grasp of Arboreus-specific resources, which are different from the ones of Syndesia and Tartaros :slight_smile: Since there's no hostile PvP on Arboreus, I don't get what you mean by "easy retreat" - if you're doing PvP on Syndesia with a Beastman you have no advantage compared to Demons and Humans. If you're doing it on Tartaros, you're heavily penalized compared to Demons and quite penalized compared to Humans. Last but not least, you're cut off town conquest. I'd definitely say Beastman is the worst race if you want to PvP, as it's meant to be :slight_smile:
