Have I missed a description of what "fast travel" is going to be like? Is it increased run speed on roads?
That, mounts and teleporting from dock to dock (for a fee and subject to limitations)

@Jetah I clarified to @BellumLee via email that Governors can choose an authoritarian rule and not be subject to elections. Also, the process mentioned in the roadmap to claim an unclaimed city doesn't include an election - it's just a way to assign the city to the first group that's large enough to claim it.

I understand the "playing a visit to the closest city" need, but thinking about the lore/storytelling and knowing that each planet has one or more deities, given the possibility of building temples and churchs for such deities, why not make the respaw location the closest temple or church?
That's a pretty nice idea. Once we implement temples and religions, we may very well move the functionality to the temple altar instead of the tavern fireplace

@Phylosophys I would rather respawn at a location I have been to and should know how to get back to where I am then some new location I may have never been to and using the map to try to find where I died WoW style. Honetly I was hopeing for a more UO system where you just became a ghost when you dies and had to find a way to get a res from a shine or kind healer. Made palying a healer much more satisfying.
Even if we move the respawn point from a town tavern to a town temple as suggested by @Phylosophys above, it's always going to be a choice to rebind your spawn point at a specific temple - you won't get just sent to the closest one. Also, it will be possible to be resurrected by an ally within a short time window after death if the ally has the Resurrection spell - but you won't be able to move around like UO

Can sieges occur across sea lanes?
Nope, a city can only launch a siege against a neighboring city, ie one it's connected to via a main road
Please note: this is an internal design document we're sharing to ease your city planning. It's ugly! Also, it's tilted 45Β° compared to the actual continent of Myr.

Just fyi you've said July 26th here and April 26th in the roadmap post. I'm guessing April's the correct one if the next test is in June tho.
Wups, fixed. Thanks
Hi everyone!
Alpha 2 - Test 2 is ending on Sunday, April 26 (yes, thatβs official now!), and we are already looking forward to the next testing phase...
...which is coming in June already!
Note: planning your city? Looking for a city to live in? Head to the dedicated forum section! There's a map of upcoming cities on Myr, too!
Enjoy and stay tuned, because thereβs a handful of other exciting news coming in the next few weeks!
Hi @Jarmo, all our animations are placeholders or barely more than that... and the mage staff ones are particularly bad, we know. We'll try to get at least those improved for the next testing phase
Hi @Griffca, the monster bug is a known one. As for the furniture, what house model is yours exactly?
Regenerating Endurance (green bar) causes an equal loss of Life (red bar) - I guess that's what you were seeing?
Hi @Sarcandosa, I've moved your character to the starting area. I'll try to figure out exactly how your character ended up in that invalid location and fix the issue. Apologies for inconvenience!
Hi, could you send me your Player.log file while you are playing with the issue?
It's located here:
Users\YourUser\AppData\LocalLow\Dynamight Studios Srl\Fractured
You can send it to support@dymstudios.com or upload it to https://pastebin.com/ and drop the link here. Thank you!
@Accol fix is on its way, will be patched in tomorrow morning (CEST time)
