      That is how the other full loot pvp games work. If mobs can finish you, you shouldn't respawn at your house with all your items because otherwise it could be abused as a safe teleport.

      Being looted is a different crime than adds karma on being PK'ed? ...
      Anyway, if you die and respawn to your house you should absolutely lose everything you got on you. Lets take the current map for example: if my house is in Creeping Woods (NW) and I'm farming more than half a map away in Vale of Shadows, bringing loot home is a dangerous journey when the full loot pvp gets implemented. Getting spawned at my house with all the items when being killed by mobs is basically a safe teleport with 30s vulnerability time which goes against the idea of dangerous journeys / no teleporting / localized marketplaces and banks in the worlds with open pvp.

      PS: @Gothix 's idea is not bad imo. If you get KNOCKED by a mob, they might steal an item and whoever (you included) kills the mob gets it as loot. However, I wouldn't really want this implemented since it might be a little awkward if you are in party with randoms and lose an expensive item while being knocked out.
      PPS: @Farlander in the release we will have mounts.

      @Yitra Right now mobs kill you when the red bar reaches 0 and you respawn to your plot without losing anything. It would be quite gamebreaking to have a similar behavior at release in full loot pvp areas.

      @Jetah Joke's on you. Once I unlock mage armor, I run naked and without a weapon everywhere. I might craft a few bandages and cleric armor since those plats are very common, but that's it.

      This skill is affected by INT. You can create a 18 INT character with a lot of (ranged) damage, armor (thanks to the buff), magic res (thanks to the buff + int bonus) and extra memory points. If you roll 6CHA and put some points in STR/STA, you become really tanky. Meanwhile, a character with medium armor cannot cast spells and has evasion/mana cost penalties.

      That's why I said that "at this point" the mage is without any doubt the strongest class.

      The other thing you are not thinking of is that skill consumes 4 memory points and a slot on your skill bar all which are limited when building your character.

      Memory points are affected by INT. As a mage whose main stat is INT, you're going to have the most memory points anyway.

      Next test please add the option to suicide (and respawn to our homes). Letting mobs kill you has the same effect, but it takes a while.

      @Xzoviac What skills other than the stun from bears and the buffs from goblins do you use? As I said in this thread, at this point you can make a caster that is a better tank than a melee character while also hitting hard with spells.

      As Shiva said, right now the game is advertised as full loot (same as red/black zone in Albion).
      If they keep the same red bar / green bar mechanics, then you will probably also lose everything if you die in PVE (red bar reaches zero, so death not knockout). I think that's the case because when you die you respawn to your home, and it would be quite broken to respawn with all the resources in the inventory.

      You can move decorative items, so try to interact with the cart after moving the fence a bit. Then you can move the fence back to its initial position.

    • What does "armor" mean?

      If you have +30armor, you get +30 to all 3 resists (pierce / blunt / slash)?

      If so, at this point the tankiest character will be a mage with maxed out INT and some STR. The armor with best warrior stats is hide, which gives a total of (128+32+32+32=) 224 slash resistance and less to the other two. Meanwhile, a 18INT mage has 230armor and 39% magic res from this toggle. And of course, it doesn't have the durability problem you get with items: I completely burned a new hide armor set + bear necklace in 2h yesterday by playing with some people in goblin hills). All the items had a +50% durability enchant on them. The boots didn't lose durability, but I believe they are bugged.

      Maybe some plots are just bugged. I had the same issue when I tried to build the house, but I could eventually place it on another titles of the plot. I can't build stuff on a big chunk of my land, not even fences (the area with red)

      Progression is very dependent upon obtaining a plot of land and building upon it, assuming players will not have access to other player's houses and their workbenches once permissions are in place this will be an issue for new players. Town hubs will need to have accessible crafting benches.

      The release will be very different from this alpha test. We will have quick travel (teleportation and mounts). Towns will have local chests and markets, and of course crafting facilities (you will probably have to pay a fee to the owner to use it).

      Goblin Enforcers <...> goes from 20% health to full with no green text or anything, and it can happen multiple times

      I farmed goblins a bit and I never saw them healing more than once.

      I started as a street rat (which btw is a lot easier than whatever the warrior class is called), but I mostly have spells unlocked because I fought spiders. All in all, melee seems a lot weaker than spellcasters.

      It's an alpha test. You will be able to change resolution in the release but it's not implemented in this version yet.

      The game will be b2p, but right now everyone can take part in the alpha stress test. If you have a founder pack you can start playing on 4th Feb. If you don't have a founder pack you can start playing on 6th Feb 2pm CET. Right now it's 6th Feb 1:40pm CET. You can start playing in 20minutes.       They said in a thread today we won't have camera rotation. In your screenshot, if they increase the camera angle on 0x, you will see more things behind you and less in front of you. If they decrease it, you will see more stuff in front of you and less behind you.
      Anyway, monitors normally have more width than height, so you will always see more on the left and right than top and down. You have a weird resolution. I don't see what elegant solution could there be to make it fair (and not stretch objects)... maybe add fog of war to the left and right side if you screen ratio exceeds 1.77?
