      Ok, this is a horrible idea. Nothing should happen to private banks in case the town ownership changes... If you can't access the chest because the new governor closes the town or they kos you, then the items are stuck in that chest, but you should be able to retrieve them as soon as you have access to the chest.

      They can make small, time-limited asteroids where only 2 people can enter (similar to Albion Hellgates, but solo).

      As long as devs don't change the current alliance system, what you're saying is exactly what will happen naturally at release, regardless of such a system being implemented or not. Small guilds will not survive on their own, so they have to join alliances. The best alliances will be those led by big hardcore guilds. In order to join such an alliance you have to contribute with something: join zvz, gather and donate % of income, whatever. Small guilds will have small towns, large guilds will have large towns. If we can set perms to crafting buildings, most big towns will be open because this generates traffic and income.

      As I told you before, I will tell you again. The people who are active on the forums, especially in the very early stages, will not be the majority at release. However, they will still gank weaker people, steal their resources, and use alts to bypass game limitations. The very same thing happened to Albion and there's pretty much nothing the devs can do about it.

      PS: I agree with OP. Governors/building owners should be able to decide if the town is safe or not (like completely disable guards if they want to, or set them to only defend a certain group), the groups* that can use their buildings and how much tax each pays for doing so.

      @Stacy555 i honestly fully expect / hope on them not going through with the horizontal progression thing because then the game will be more of a battle royale thing than mmo. And who would play a battle royale game without pvp (arboreus)? Besides, there will be little point in having premium more than a month on any planet. So what I expect is end game gear, loot with different rarities to facilitate trading and crafting, world bosses with interesting mechanics, randomized dungeons, some political aspect.

      Since they have a continent completely void of PvP (Arboreus), I think the PvE content at release will be quite good. Not being hyped after a few months of finding about the game is normal, and I feel the same way.

      Using this kind of gear in most scenarios seems like a waste, but they have their purposes. For example, in high-end PvE (imagine world bosses) and PvP (imagine sieges) people will want to come in the best thing they can afford.

      If they will increase the aggro range of mobs, then the pve meta will be high mobility tanks aggroing a bunch of mobs and running in circles while ranged DD kill the mobs. Can we have one MMO without that? 😛

      Disagree. Balance should be done around all kinds of pvp that exist in the game (1v1, 5v5, small scale pvp, zvz). We have hundreds of planned abilities, so there should be viable builds for everything.

      All in all, it's too early to talk about balance at this point, but as long as bandages are not removed from pvp, playing an assassin (stealth+burst damage on long cooldowns) is pointless as long as they can't one-combo people.

      David, the inventory in this game has both limited space and weight. If you pick up everything while farming, you'll have to go to town every 20min or so. All in all, loot pets seem kind of useless in this game, reason why very few people will buy them => wasted development time.
