    • RE: What I can do, can't do and won't do.

@Specter ahh, apologies if I have asked of you things. I was under the impression you were a dev team member tasked with the "dirty work" 😁 I remember the days of GMs in Everquest beta and final. Now I understand. Thanks for clarifying. They need to hire you some help, especially as it progresses. Thanks for all you do for us. 👍 We do appreciate it.

    • Prometheus, did y'all disable mouse click emulation?

I used a program to simulate the left mouse click while playing Fractured, due to medical reasons caused by having to do this in UO for years. It destroyed the ligaments in my wrist and causes a lot of pain. Fractured started causing it to hurt again after all these years (it's why I love games that use WASD). Well, now it no longer works in Fractured. ONLY Fractured has the problem. If this is the case, I'm afraid I'll no longer be able to play. It just causes too much pain. Imagine bees being in your wrist stinging the crap out of it. If it's not the case, then I'll try something else.
      Thanks

    • RE: Hey y'all

Thanks everyone. @Ostaff Yes, It's been a long road of games and beta test. It's something I enjoy.

    • Weapon durability

Weapon durability out of whack or intended?

I made a Yew bow, in this case and after about 3 hours of off and on fighting, it was already at 50%? Are we to make weapons for each run through an area? Then discard them or have them break?

Weapons and such, personally, should last a few days of heavy fighting at least. I understand the desire to have a continued need of re-creating items, but this often?

      Just some feedback.

Oh, I totally get that and understand that. UO suffered the same problem. We need to be able to have some control over key assignment built into the game or something though. That way it is handled by the game.

Carpel tunnel and other serious injuries, such as mine, as a result of a year or so in UO with the very same problem, is very real and anything the dev team can do to help would be great.

I'm just trying to raise a concern for the players out there, so others don't suffer the same fate.

All this program did was simply reassign a key of my choosing, to simulate a left mouse click

    • RE: Veteran MMO Player (EverQuest 1999-2017, WoW, DAoC): Crafter, diplomat, PvE-centric

Ahh, the Title sounds a lot like me, only I started with UO Beta. I did take about a 7 year vacation from online games. Just recently getting back into them. Burnout. I've beta test just about every MMORPG from UO, onward. It ended with WoW beta being the last game I beta tested and played until about 2013. I enjoy crafting and having a home. No one has made anything like UO, in that aspect, yet in my opinion. No, I didn't care for Legends of Aria, which has a main developer from UO on it's team, or leading it.

At the moment, I'm playing Neverwinter (I love their guild setup) and AdventureQuest 3D (just something I can play casually on the phone also, in off times when I'm not near a PC)

I started doing Dungeons & Dragons with like minded people, in the military on the weekends. Yes, the tabletop version 🙂 Yes, I'm old lol

    • Resource identification on horse back

You can't identify resources, other than the obvious like trees and plants you know are harvestable. You still can't mouse over them and know for sure they are a resource.

Rocks and ore you can't tell. More rocks need to spawn, especially when you are in the hills and mountainous areas. Right now it's a total pain to try and find a specific spawn when you have millions of tons of rocks around you

    • RE: Just some discussion questions to ponder

Several games I play have instanced zones. That way there isn't any overcrowding of one zone. Lag stays low and resources, etc. are manageable. You can always switch instances.
