    • Crafting Station Deposit All and Take All Icons swapped

      hey,

      Icons for 'Take All' and 'Deposit All' in the Crafting station windows are swapped. Take All looks like it would deposit everything from the cart and Deposit all looks like it would load the cart. Positions, text and functionality are correct though.

    • [Fixed] Chat message does not post when using "/" (slash) in your message text

      Hey, this seems to be a widely known bug within the community but I couldn't find it in the bug reports:

      Any message sent ingame containing a "/" (slash) does not post.This is 100% repeatable.

    • Master Wizard ricochet hits do not aggro monsters

      Hey,

      The Master Wizard ricochet hits do not aggro any monsters. Tested on Wolf packs.

      Did not test this with the ricochet archer ability or pierce damages.

      As @Shivashanti pointed out, 18 is the maximum in a single stat during creation for humans. You can get additional points by:

      • 2 points: enchantment
      • 2 points: talent tree

      For a total of 22 points possible. You won't be able to achieve that in every stat.

    • mage staffs and ranged modifiers

      Hey,

      I believed that mage staffs had nothing to do with ranged modifiers until this thread came up.

      +ranged attack damage nodes don't seem to work on mage staffs (as expected) since it is not classified as a ranged weapon but a mage weapon for ability and damage purposes.

      Now, the talent clearly states that the pierce only works for projectiles from ranged weapons but this seems to work as intended, confirmed by Prometheus, even with staffs.

      This seems very confusing to me. Maybe change the wording for the Sharpshooter talent to be: "Projectiles have a 30% chance to pierce through multiple targets". Just leaving out the "of ranged weapons" part would clarify that for me.

      Anyone feel different/same about this?

    • 3440x1440 Resolution unavailable since recent patch

      Hey,

      I used to test play Fractured in 3440x1440 and 1920x1080 resolutions. Since the most recent patch (2.3.3p) the video settings no longer allow for 3440x1440 and have changed my active settings to 2560x1440.

      Not sure if this is/was intentional. Clearly not a high priority issue.

      @asspirin and the usage of memory points guarantees you won't have as many abilities as in wow.
      But quick slots are not just used for abilities, but items as well. So even a low inteligence character can probably fill 10 quick slots. And if not? That's fine too. It's not a requirement to fill them.

      @Smax When you say you can't place the blueprint, does the blueprint just show red everywhere or what's the exact issue you are experiencing?

      Did the roof of the house get built?

      Did you put down the blueprint for the house?

      And not sure how new you are to the game but blueprints need to put down my right-clicking after selecting the blueprint.

      Just going my checklist of possibilities. Hope that helps,

      I like the idea and will see if I can figure that out. I wasn't aware that different items in the same slot have different enchantment options yet. If that ends up being the case and we would need to make a database more or less per item, that's going to be again more of a challenge to integrate it with the wiki to avoid needing to update both things all the time.

      V1.2 now available!

      Huge thanks to @kellewic for reaching out and finding a solution to integrate the wiki data into this sheet. The ingredients list is now being pulled directly from the wiki. If you find a problem after an update and some ingredient seems to show the wrong value in my sheet, it's time to update the wiki.

      This is exactly the kind of collaboration I was hoping for. I am beyond excited right now. Let me know if anyone finds an error or a way to brick the thing 🙂

      EDIT: There still seems to be an issue with the downloaded version. Please use V1.1 as a downloaded version for now. I will work on this and update asap.

      Not sure that's anymore "nuts" than guaranteed melee crit aoe abilities with frenzy. But that comes down to balancing at the end. Could just reduce the base dmg of said abilities if this becomes an issue. I wouldn't see that as an argument for or against mage crits at this time.

      While I do feel that when there is a list of possible enchantments after adding the reagents, some enchantments appear more often on gear, the overall system seems very intended. I didn't test this in a proper numerical way though.
      It actually penalizes you for trying to use low/cheap reagents, which I think is great. Obviously, in the current alpha, not all enchantments can be guaranteed and, well, that may even be the case for launch. That just makes certain enchantments way more valuable and you will have to think if the chance of getting it is worth the potential "bricking" of the item.

      This was actually the reason I made the Enchantment Calculator as it should find an ingredient combination that would more likely guarantee your wanted enchantment. You can substitute reagents, but then you run a higher chance of a longer list of enchantments.
      Certainly, you can find one by yourself, but I often ended up with a rather large list at times.

      And there are no t3 enchantments possible yet, not everything exists in t2 even.

      @Znick but isn't that exactly what the Memory points do? They do limit you to like 8 skills or so regardless of available slots and make you choose needed abilities for your build carefully.

      I feel like the slot limit is really just adding inconvenience and not limitation.

      I can certainly agree with you on the dislike of MMOs where everyone does everything and no specialization is needed. Just not sure we need a slot limitation for that.

      very much agreed on this.. There has been quite a not so nice atmosphere happening in global chat, which funny enough, I don't remember from past tests at all. I'm sure there are specific examples of similar conversations in global, but I don't think that's been the overall mood, until this test.

      What Spectre actually said was that he believes recruiting in global doesn't make much sense and the forums are a better platform where you can reach more people. Whether one agrees with that or not, is an entirely different thing though.

      I made the important part bold there. What I recall was more broad: he was tired of arguments in global chat period. Not specificly the argument you were involved in, but I'm sure @Specter can clarify this too.

      While there is discord and the forums, global chat has been the main channel to get help through and I am aware that you do offer help and learning opportunities through your private discord chat. That is appreciated. But frequent guild recruitment posts, by whoever, do unfortunately interrupt that somewhat. Not sure how global chat can be changed to still allow for questions and answers and avoiding spamming.

      There are times I feel like I am spamming global when trying to help a single person. But since there are no PMs, it's kinda the only way at this time.
