RE: Alpha 2 - Test 3 Launch Day Revealed
@Rizzardi You can most definitely purchase alpha 2 access in the official fractrured store which is not particularly cheap but that's a guaranteed option you have. Any package "Legend" or higher would do the trick. The other option is to maybe ask around if anyone has a alpha 2 test 3 game key flying around. Dynamight handed some out as rewards for playing in the last test. You might get lucky with that.

RE: Alpha 2 - Test 3 Launch Day Revealed
Really looking forward to this with skill trees and cities. Love the change to the resistances.
And most importantly: thanks for getting mini map icons for parties!! It may seem little, but it's huge.
Shall see how the changes to crit damage work out. I'm skeptical there but only the test can tell.
Is there any info on the length of the playtest?

RE: Nekrage's Community Award Program!
Hey @Nekrage I indeed woke up to an email with a dynamight gift from you. Thanks!

RE: Needed party markers
I would agree with that. Mostly due to the slightly rotated map, so it's always some extra thinking

Needed party markers
Hey,
I'm pretty sure someone has mentioned it somewhere already, but my search couldn't come up with any references.
It is currently very easy to lose your party. The camera is rather zoomed in and with the character movement speed, allows for other players to step out of your screen very fast - in some directions easier than others due to the camera tilt.
It would be tremendously helpful to have party member markers on the edge of your screen or even on the mini map (this seems to be somewhat supported with quest markers already) to find lost parties easier.
The current process involves asking for coordinates, then trying to get there. As team play with player cities in the next playtest seems to be even more relevant, I am hoping this feature could make it into the same update. Besides that, I am certain this is a planned feature already. Just hoping for an implementation sooner than later.
Any thoughts?

RE: Helping to spread
Nicely done! I feel like that's a very informative video to direct people to who have not heard of fractured. It does show off the overall implemented features without going into too much or too little detail!

RE: Enchanting table sharing bugs
Regarding 2:
Just adding that enchantment can be completed when the person who has permissions to the table is also added as a co-owner of the house. -
RE: [FRAC-1972] Helpless starving
That was reported in [FRAC-1972] and assigned for fixing.

RE: what the actual pvphuck
I very much agree with @Kralith here. We are like on the opposite end of the world from balancing. And this is overall great feedback. I wish however, that we could entangle this somewhat. I feel there is a lot of mixing up balancing issues with actual bugs. And clearly, the distinction may not be very clear and may require Prometheus/Specter to comment on it.
Let me just comment on 2 things:
Mage Armor and Resistances
@GorTavaro said in what the actual pvphuck:but they could restrict mage armor to cloth so only mages could use it. There is also lot of creatures with 100% resistances.
You can still wear cloth armor as a melee character, as we currently see a lot of spear wielding cloth wearers. Since there are no classes this alone would not fix it. It clearly has to do with the current lack of better armor for melee. if there was something that would give much higher physical resistances, players would possibly ditch magic armor and wear that. But the current lack favors magic armor clearly. While currently unfortunate, that should naturally get fixed by adding diversity.
I don't mind resistances on monsters or players even at 100% but this should be achievable in one resistance only and would require to leave other resistances behind/exposed. This would make builds specializing on synergies of certain damage types strong against most but totally ineffective against others and I think that furthers diversity overall in character builds.
Critical Hits
@Laveilath said in what the actual pvphuck:crit builds of warriors they can one shot even somebody with higher armor and 2300 hp.
This seems to be fitting into the bug category to me. A regular attack with regular crit would not create such numbers, but as @Freas pointed out in his build competition entry there is a absolut flaw in the way crits can stack up right now. I would bet, this is 100% unintentional and not supposed to happen, which would cap the crit damage at this point maybe closer to 1k damage.
That seems to be a major part in the current super fast fights, insane unbalance between mages (since no auto-crit skills and therefore no crit stacking) and warriors.
