The mount system right now is just a sketch. Once taming makes it into the game, I'm sure we will see more mounts.

RE: The Mega Balancing Patch
To be fair, most warrior builds right now would run out of mana too.
They are abusing the mandrake elixirs to avoid caring about it. -
RE: Wildfolk becoming evil / Advantage on Wildfolk World? / Wildfolk appearance change to look evil (Abomination)?
-
It is one of the foreseen features, but we don't know when it will be implemented.
-
Probably, but again we don't really have info.
-
Wildfolks and humans can already go on all worlds, they don't need to become evil for that. We don't know about demons.
-
Humans and wildfolks have different starting stats, this has been stated in the design journals. On the wiki here you can find the first draft of them https://fractured.fandom.com/wiki/Basics_Guide. In a few days we will see if it has been kept or there were changes. We also don't know which resources will be on Arboreus. According to the design journals, Syndesia is the world with the most minerals, while rare stones and leathers are on Tartaros. This probably means that Arboreus will have the highest range of Wood and Fiber materials.

RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@BECKFAST honestly I'm seeing nothing of the sort. He expressed a very detailed feedback and wishlist. A quite radical wishlist. Obviously he can't expect the reaction to be "Oh yeah you are totally right, we should really change all this !". People have different views on those matters.
We are expressing different views on those points, no one is being shut down. I actually see a quite constructive discussion going on. -
RE: Roadmap To Early Access
@Fi I actually didn't dislike luck as an attribute.
But probably being in the hands of players was weird.I would prefer if it was kept as a concept and then used for random effects.
For example, some legends could have an aura which lowers luck.
Demons on Arboures could have a luck penalty since they are not welcome.
Same for beats on Tartaros.Since the system for it is already implemented, it could be kept for wide reaching general effects not in the hands of players.

@Junkie was always a product of my imagination? Man, I thought I was better than that....

RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
I don't feel like there's much of a grind right now (except for bringing up cities).
After one or 2 days of casual playing you can join your friends in high level pve areas and pull your weight. In the previous test when talents did matter a lot, that wasn't true, but in the last test they nailed that "horizontal" thing much better.

RE: Fall Playtest & Final Relaunch Sale
DIscounts go from 40% on the adept package to the 20% on the eternal. I see them correctly.

RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
The point is that you don't need the knowledge.
I didn't grind it full in the last alpha. Not even half of it.
I went only where there were skills I wanted. More knowledge only gives you more talents, and you are perfectly fine without those.

RE: Fall Playtest & Final Relaunch Sale
got some info on this point.
By default no, a standalone key does not also get a Steam key by default.
The reason for that is that both keys are valid, and what happened with other games is that as soon as a game releases Steam Keys for everyone, the secondary market gets flooded with those Steam keys, which eventually damages the game.
That's why lately games have started avoiding giving away Steam keys.
With that said, the devs have not yet decided on this matter, and they are trying to see if there is a feasible way to provide those Keys while avoiding the effect I just described. -
RE: PWK
@plasmashade it definitely was a thing and is still a thing after the new work on the skills.
Currently it works like this:
Hefty cooldown, mana cost and memory cost, but the cast time is practically zero. You just point to someone under a certain amount of HP and wave it bye bye.

RE: Statement on the Gamigo-rumors
It is highly likely that Gamigo is the mysterious publisher that was never announced.
What this means though is uncertain.
I know that the reaction of many has been "If Gamigo then Bye bye", but one must also consider that this is a really weird project for Gamigo.
It is a buy to play game and is under development. It is quite foreign to the usual target of Gamigo, which is quick to milk F2P games.
This, combined with the fact that honestly Prometheus and the rest of the team wouldn't do something that hurts their creature, means that the nature of the deal here is more than simply a company name .
There are enough question marks here, that an impulse reaction isn't justified. I would wait and see for a while how all this unravels.TLDR: Yes IMO it will be Gamigo, but with a very different approach from their previews games.

Young player protection hour counter
After discussing with some players which participated in previous tests, it seems that the hour counter of the young player protection didn't reset from the last test.
I didn't have it at all, and indeed had lost it in the previous test.
Others started with 6 or 18 hours already counted. -
RE: PWK
It went through many iterations.
After second wind I believe that this is the skill that has been changed more times in the history of the game.
-
RE: Refunds, negative reactions to Gamigo deal
I understand where you are coming from, but you are being quite careless on 2 points:
-
Both you and cookie have no kind of metric or method to claim those "100-200k". Yours is just a very wild and baseless guess.
-
200k are not peanuts by any possible definition. They are 4 months of development funds under the current team or 8 months under the old one.
Are you really saying that 4 months make no difference in the development of a game?

Old habits don't die that easily

RE: Streaming of re-launch
So far in all the tests we had, players were actively encouraged to do so.
-
RE: Gday
If you want to stream the game, I would suggest checking the content creator program.
You can get some free alpha keys to distribute during your streams. -
RE: Autistic son in tears because he cannot understand why he cannot play - rewording *NEEDED!*
The game was never meant to be F2P, it has always been a buy to play.
