Wooden shields have plenty of uses. At the moment I would say that they are used more than metal ones.

In short, all skills have a part of their effect which is variable, you can see this either on the wiki where the description includes that:

Those variable numbers change based on your proficiency in that school.

That definitely looks like what happens when you can't reach the server.
Try activating a VPN (sometimes fixes this) and/or clearing the cache located in AppData/LocalLoW/DynamightSrl

This usually means that you cannot connect to the server.
Can I ask you to try these 2?

1. Try activating a VPN and see if this changes
2. Try clearing the cache located in appData/LocalLoW/DynamightSrl

When you get stuck, send a message on discord, usually it gets solved very quickly.

When stuff like this happens, ask for help on the Discord. We usually respond very quickly.

The wiki is currently only one patch behind for the most part. Problem is that most of the wiki curators are players and with this launch they have been very busy.

Those are store tokens, not ingame coins.

Reds can steal carts, that is normal.
Having the young player protection protects you from them, but does not protect your cart.

You may actually see that stuff before release, it will be probably be progressively rolled in during EA.

It has to be added manually. Normally every once in a while the devs batch insert all of the new ethernal packages (they are not so many, so they don't check daily).
