    • Notice Boards at the Blacksmith

It would be very nice if there was a way to let others know what was intended for the metals in the smelters at the Blacksmith. For example, if I loaded up a smelter with tin with the intention of creating metal sheet for a catapult than I could post that to the notice board for that smelter. It could say “please use for crafting metal sheets catapult” Then as soon as the ingot was removed from the smelter the notice board would reset.

I realize that it won’t force folks to use the materials for what is intended but it would be a very valuable tool for city citizens that log in on different schedules. Some of us can collect materials and put them in the smelters and others that login later can find them and move them along the processing path because they will know what was intended for them.

      Just a rough idea.

      • Ports
Instead of ports being fast travel, reduce the cost and make ports safe travel. Travel by port could take as long, or perhaps half the time, as travel by horse would take, but you are safe from harm (like you are now) You would need to remain logged in to the character though, logging out while in transit would send your character back to the port of departure.

      • Inns and Homesteads
I do love this idea I am just not sure about the implementation or its effect on the game as a whole. I think if the distances where greater that it might be more feasible.

      • Warehouses and Storage Buildings
These building make a city feel so much more like a city. Unfortunately at the moment the make it feel like a decaying city because they are empty. I agree that the storage space and ease of use needs seeing to; it must be easier and a wagon should not compare in space. It is awful seeing all of these wagons piled up everywhere.

    • RE: Moving – New Land Parcel Not Allowed

@MrBd I know about using the banks to move out of my house and then relinquishing my old house to get a new one. Thank you for mentioning it though.

I wish I could remember (or find) where I read/heard about the 24 hours to move to a new plot. Maybe I just dreamed it.

I know if it's not a thing it sure should be!

    • Moving – New Land Parcel Not Allowed

I thought that if we already owned a land parcel and wanted to move that we could buy a new parcel and had 24 hours to move our items to the new lot. However, when I try to buy a new parcel of land I get a message stating that I already own a land parcel.

This is very frustrating as new land has opened up nearer the city I am a citizen of. I very much want to move but the game is not allowing me to do so. Help please!

    • Packing Station 5 Click Cart Load

I know the issue of loading carts at the packing station has been discussed but I counted the clicks it takes and it really is overkill. We have to click a total of 5 times to move a sack from the packing station to a wagon and to make it worse there is a delay on the 4th click.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all of the little time consuming details in this game. However, this truly is an excessive amount of work for players to have to go through. This could be solved easily by making the packing station have two separate clickable areas, the table where you pack and the platform where you load your cart.

However it is done, please reduce the number of clicks required, because just to load one cart, if you never miss a click, requires 150 clicks. Ouch!

    • You will respawn in the last city where you rested

      Respawn.png

"You will respawn in the last city where you rested…”

This is not the case at all. The last city I rested in was the starter city to the north, but I was sent to the starter city to the south, the city I started the game in. The city I slept in before that was the city I belong to, Valhalla Atrium, but it didn’t send me there either. This makes it very confusing.

If it has something to do with the shrine, then the graphic should indicate this. If this is a bug and I was sent to the wrong city, then please fix it because that was a heck of a long way to have to go for a bug.

It should be noted that other than to look at the shrine options, I did not interact with the shrine in the southern starter city at all. Therefore, I believe this must be a bug and I was arbitrarily sent to the wrong city.

@Mirgannel12 I can’t find the post that you are referencing, sorry. I can tell you this though, I have had far greater problems with Blue Army that with The Oran’Thul.

My suggestion is that if you are having a hard time then take @Nekrage up on his offer. My tiny guild (three people) was part of The Oran’Thul city the last two tests and it was fantastic. He means what he says.

I think I have it figured out now. Thank you for the replies. Also, next time I am outnumbered I do believe that I will let them have the cart and make a run for it. LOL, better to lose my cart and ore than to lose the cart, ore, my armor, weapons, everything I am carrying and my life!

    • Death by the Underequipped?

So we have one player in Primitive Equipment and the second is naked attacking a player in steel plate armed with a steel longsword and a Wooden Heater Shield. As you can see in the photo the player that was in plate is dead. This makes no sense to me. How did two players with no armor or decent weapons kill a well-equipped fighter? I am not complaining (though I would like to, lol) I just want to figure out how this works. Any input is appreciated.

@Harleyyelrah I so hope so! It is hell when you have a pile of dead bodies and you are still fighting something and a loot window keeps opening instead of letting you attack!

    • Unrelated Clicking While Fighting

I know this has been mentioned in other threads but I it is something that really needs a solution.

If you are in combat it isn’t right to have to constantly contend with corpse clicking or clicking on trees or harvestable. This isn’t a matter of “game vision” where the Devs want us to have to work for things. That kind of thing I agree with. This is a matter of we absolutely have to have a way to be able to attack a mob without constantly clicking on unrelated objects.

My fighter would never mistake a tree or dandelion for a zombie. Nor would I stop and loot the dead while I was still being killed. It is ridiculous that we have to continuously deal with this situation.

Please, please give us a resolution to this issue!

    • Mini Map Oddity

I don't know if this oddity on the mini map is intentional or a graphical error. It showed up for both my brother and I while we were running through the area last night. The river looks normal when you run by it but it looks odd on the map.

    • RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread

Here are my thoughts and ideas.

-1 to -100 is a simple escort to the jail with maybe a 5 or 10 gold fine. Then you are free to go, no actual jail time. It isn’t likely that a bounty hunter is going to bother with that as there isn’t any profit, however, some real gung-ho folks might want to remind those evil players of what might happen if they proceed upon their chosen path.

After that you break down everything from -101 to -10,000 and assign time allotments and fines

There has been a great deal of discussion about folks amassing gold and then not caring about paying a fine. I agree that this will be an issue. What I wonder is if we could tweak this a bit. So instead of being able to pay with standard gold, prisoners can only pay with, let’s call it fool’s gold (or whatever)

This is only obtainable by the prisoner when they opt to go out into the world and do PVE to work off their debt instead of doing jail time. At this point all normal gold drops become fool’s gold drops and the criminal can collect this to pay off their debt.

Furthermore, a criminal may enlist their friends to help them. These friends would need to come to the jail in which the criminal resides and sign up to help pay his debt. At which time all said players would be locked into PVE mode until enough fool’s gold was collected to pay the fine. Fool’s gold can’t be saved. Once the fine is paid any remaining fool’s gold that was collected towards a specific fine vanishes.

You should be able to work off your fine by working for the city you are jailed in. The prisoner could mine, make weapons or armor and contribute to the city upkeep. If this happens then perhaps there could be a chest in each relevant city building for prisoners to deposit the items that they collect or harvest. Citizens couldn’t place items in these chests but would be free to take what they needed, prisoners could only despite items and only what is relevant to each building.

Also when a prisoner is checked into the jail all of his personal backpack items should be removed and placed in safe keeping until such time as he pays his fine or serves his time. Anything he is wearing of course remains with him. If they opt to work off their fine of go earn it then they go out with an empty backpack (yes they keep their weapons) Why? It is just a little extra work for the criminal. They have to go get food and hammers and such again.

Anyway, this has been my 49cents worth.

      @spoletta

Actually you were telling me that I didn’t know what was going on. You said “Hmm, no I don't think that's what was happening.” And that is why I replied the way I did. If you had simple suggested that I mistook one thing for another all would have been fine.

    • RE: unbalanced pvp - unarmed naked mob griefer.

@spoletta Hmmm, I think I know exactly what was happening; you see, I was there. Were you?

To start with I was set up in an out of the way location so people traveling wouldn’t run over me. I did that very much on purpose. Then you add that these folks show up and start doing a bit of beating here and there on the skellies that I already have in hand. That was a bit annoying but I could live with it as they were also pulling their own and not being too pushy at first.

Then all of a sudden they started dropping trains on me. Same folks. I gave them the first one as an accident as maybe they just had some mobs respawn around them when they weren’t paying attention. After that though it became quite obvious that it was being done with intent and malice. Funny too how it was just the same two players over and over again and no one else.

Now tell me again how it must have been innocent travelers passing by and that those poor, wrongly accused, players weren’t being bad guys after all?

    • RE: unbalanced pvp - unarmed naked mob griefer.

@OlivePit You hit it right on the money! "TRAIN" is exactly what was being done to me the other day. I had a nice little setup, pull with a bow, and kill up close, one at a time. I could even handle the skellies with the big swords and a little skelly add if I paid attention. Then I would back off and rest at my fire. Then along come these wonderful folks creating these Freaking trains and dropping them right on my head. I can see once being an accident but after it happened the second and then third time I knew it was on purpose. I guess because I am still a Young status player it was the only way they could kill me, but then again they weren't red so maybe it was just a good way to kill without actually facing their opponent.
