      @kungkaneru Ah, but don't forget that serious hypercalcemia can also cause bone pain, confusion, lethargy, fatigue, anxiety and depression, so you could up with a bunch of bone idle heaps that belong in an ossuary.

      @PeachMcD Agreed, this is a primary function that would be very soul destroying to only discover at the end of a hard days toil in the field, free Alpha or not, time spent is still a valuable commodity to new users.

      @eurav...... hmmm, you make some very valid points, I have noticed many of the thread are either old, or tend to be rather trivial in nature: I suppose it is a symptom of accumulating points from posts, even to say hello and probably what most watchers are thinking about my own submissions, lol. You are right of course, the dev's won't have time and there is no real incentive to justify the allocation of such a valuable resource to such matters........ I keep forgetting that unlike the forum itself, the foundation is primarily a vehicle for pre- play interaction and may become somewhat redundant on release etc.

      @jetah Thanks: being new and, as is human nature, I wanted the knowledge (pun intended) immediately. In hindsight I am actually enjoying reading all the info in the news section first hand and found the NDA info in the article about the pre-alpha key. Patience is a virtue, clearly not one that I seem to excel in...….perhaps I should think seriously about making my hero demon.

      @logan thanks for the link.: at least that clears up one unknown on total pop as I can now say with conviction that at the time of writing this I am ranked 3918 out of 19,963 [(831 x 24) + 19] if you count Prometheus etc.
      So I'm not going to hold my breath for a pre-alpha key.
      And as to all those who also replied. thanks for engaging and I do agree that game development is far more pressing than work on the foundation, but I did like the idea.

      While I was browsing Q & A pages to see if anyone had previously raised the topic of allowing guild masters to upload a personalised/custom banner icon, I came across an article titled "Banners" which contained links
      (Take a look here: Suggestion | Site | Custom Guild symbol type) that when I clicked then overlaid the following message:

      Access Denied
      You seem to have stumbled upon a page that you do not have access to

      Is there higher tier access required to certain questions i.e. messenger/consol that can't be accessed by a whisperer?

      Although I would welcome some form of mentoring system, I would like it to extend beyond the basics of game play into wider dynamics of group/faction operation: including how to effectively use supporting mechanisms as discord: a platform I have only recently joined on finding fractured, but have yet to master. (Although I have played mmo's for a couple of years, for the most part it has only been as a solo player, or member of a pug.)

      I find the best way I learn is through visual media: so perhaps as the game develops there could be a library heading, with video tutorials explaining such processes and would definitely appreciate an idiots guide about actually running a guild in earnest.

      I will try doing a search through the previous posts to see if there is any mention of setting up a tutorial test area as part of future development, I.e. an area where newbies can try out and learn the basics of game play at there own pace without consequences in the real game.

      @logain indeed, that is why I would like to see any mentor system cover the supporting mechanisms: like how to run a successful guild or use external platforms like discord for instance, rather than game play itself. These do not undermine the concept of knowledge, but could potentially enrich the game experience as a whole.

      @Jetah asking for credit card info or govt id for a one off purchase or verification of transaction is one thing, but storing the info regardless of encryption is something far more invasive, that I would not support.

      I am a bit like Dragomok and lightspoon in that I do not have a pledge pack yet. I love the unique concept of the three planets and associated race gameplay elements proposed and I do want it to succeed, but there are so many practical matters that need to be worked through at this stage and there might be some unknown compromises required before the true structure of a final end game is seen. Three years to full release may be realistic, but it is a very long time in the real world.
      It is a noble ideal to support things from the ground up, but if I am honest, I am probably more comfortable getting a Beta pack at a time when there is more product to see. So for the moment, I will continue to keep engaged in the community, keep abreast of ongoing development and watch this space.

      @muker How about an option of a spectator pass for a friend.... real time viewing of all logged in accounts with a layer that enable any in game players to opt in or out of offering the remote viewing facility. So you could hide your stash from prying eyes whenever desired. Hey, you could even expand the concept …i.e add drop down layers like guild protected viewing to teach guild members...……..I appreciate streamers already offer viewing, but not as a global facility and not everyone is that tech savvy...or am I just getting old...…... bring back the loom and bobbin, I say. There is nothing wrong with an analogue phone that a good tap won't fix.
