well it really only depends on how immersive and 'worthwhile' people think a game is... eve online only went hybrid cause it was going to die otherwise, same with most other games, it's because devs do what they want and work out solutions later.

i guess so maybe they can follow CCP and opt for a sub based with inclusive expansions i mean it depends on the dev cycle if it's an expansion every couple of years then buying those is required eve online is exceptional in that it has content and balance passes nearly every month now.

what part of 'open world' do you not understand? sure punish people for trying to snipe people in safe zones as that violates game mechanics if they don't introduce invulnerability to them, which i'm sure they will, and as an extension higher level characters camping lower level zones i guess.

This post screams of someone that wants to be have the fun of open world with the mundanity of PvE games...

of course there's going to be pvp in the open world i'd say it's up to players to react accordingly.

tbh Demons would be the perfect race to gain benefits and buffs from being abhorrent in the open world environment as demons feed off negativity, i would say beastmen and humans could have a conscience debuff for killing others without due reason?

for demons it would be cool to see armor and weapons be a result of receiving grevious wounds that heal over to form scar tissue and weapons that are fashioned from modifying already existing grotesque formations on said creatures, maybe also spilling over into beastmen too because they are seemingly akin in that nature but beastmen ought to have the option to be able to craft weapons whereas it would be cool if demons were constricted.

@Finland indeed i've sort of lost interest with eve ever since it went F2P/P2W kind of a shame i never got involved in the dev cycle in the game before it went downhill i won't be doing that again and hopefully will be able to get involved from now to save the damn thing, i just seen the sprint 13/15 post and i really hope they intend on rendering more randomly placed foliage, need to go look for a teaser if there is one, if not i hope it pulls through on the hype that was created in me when i found this game.

i'm sorry but you can only demand so much and tbh the more times they wipe the more consistent and reliable the game will be with each optimisation patch, tbh you should be recording/logging all gameplay as you test anyway, so there is no need to 'recreate' a bug/glitch as you say, tbh this just screams of lazy testing.

just starting to engage in the community and personally i rate there is massive potential for a F2P (within start zones), B2P on expansions and Sub for open world freedom.

that depends, i mean if a demon horde just fancied the opportunity to go full marauder into human/beastman cities it would be quite catastrophic.

Stumbled across this game and have been an avid EvE online player for years, currently sorting things out so i have a gaming rig setup for when the pre-alpha starts and will be looking to get intimately involved with development and the community itself, this game has huge potential and it would be amazing to be a part of.
