Found it: Information about towns and governor packs from @Prometheus If you claim a town but don't play, the town will eventually revert from Basic to Ruined, then Haunted And If you don't have a guild, you should definitely entice people to come live in your town. Ways to do so: low prices on land plots, low taxes, good management, good focus on your target So it seems that a town for Governor packs will start from Basic. People living in the town are not included in pledge pack Hmm this was a topic about mounts. I guess we diverted a little.

@target said in Environmental Combat: @tsoo said in Environmental Combat: But I was just curious what other types of environmental combat will we see that do not involve water or ice? Hopefully they take some inspiration from effects and interactions from Divinity Original Sin 2: webs, lava, smoke, oil, poison puddles and clouds that explode when exposed to fire, blood as a substitute for water (with players leaving blood puddles from damage), and holy/unholy elements that can be applied to any type of environmental element to alter their effects. Ya, combat in Divinity Original Sin 2 was a blast (literally). Summoning oil to slow down enemies, then lighting the oil with a fire spell, or using electricity on pools to stun enemies were mechanics I frequently exploited.

@gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology: That I'm not sure governor is race restricted ?, if you are a Syndesia's town human governor and you are elected on a Arboreus's town since you could be an Arboreus citizen ? what happen ? A character can only own one house. So one character can´t be governor of two towns. If you already are governor in a Syndesia town (or you just live there) then you already have a house there which is yours. To be able to be elected as a governor for a town on Arboreus, you would need to build a house there (if you build a house while owning one, you will lose ownership of the previous house after a day, so you have some time to remove your resources). The maxium you can do, is create three characters, and have each of them govern a town on each of the planets. That´s the maximum you can do.

@Target I see, you don't want to have friendly fire to use it, you want to have it to penalize people running around in unorganized zergs. You like to pvp in small groups and don't like those zergs, right? So you want to add a feature which will annoy most players to have an advantage. Not very nice of you. If the majority of the people would be penalized by a feature, it should not be added.

@Trelia : sounds reasonable Maybee there will be just a two-flag system. One for the personal char and one for the Guild, so as long as you are in the guild, the karma state of the Guild will affect you. If you parcitipate in Karma positive actions, your personal Karma is also rising, or falling if other way round. In this case it affect the Guild Karma, too. If you are in the Guild but go for SinglePlayer Missions/PvP, it may only affect your personal karma. But still, many expectations and interpretations

Probably the limited packages will be in the store until all are bought, no date was set for them to leave, so I recommend you wait for the alpha, so you'll have a more concrete decision.

I think having a mail system to contact another player would be interesting but due to what we know currently about the travel I don't think it should be used to store or send items. In WOW it made sense since there was an auction house you could drop your goods off at to sell and if someone purchased it would get delivered that way. The way Fractured seems to be set up is there will not be a global/race auction house. Each town will have sellers. So if the best blacksmith is 4 towns over I need to take the risk of traveling with the money to go get whatever I'm buying and then travel back. Or the blacksmith needs to take the risk of traveling to another town to sell their goods. A player/guild run FedEx or UPS system would be interesting. Especially if you can do insurance on packages/goods just in case

Warfare also uses charisma, likely for buff and debuff skills. It's also mentioned that charisma is used for psychic abilities and I'm not sure if that's exclusive to illusion. The spotlight seems to imply that skills might use attributes other than the listed primary attributes of their school, so I wouldn't be too strict with assumptions about what attributes a skill of a particular school may use. For example, restoration mentions infusing life into inanimate objects; if these objects acts as summons, they could be affected by charisma. I don't expect luck to affect loot in any way because the devs have stated they hate RNG looting/gathering/crafting. Judging by how every other attribute gets a significant combat boost for reaching 20, I'm expecting charisma/luck will be the same. There will also likely be crafting recipes that require a decent amount of charisma.
