So you are fast, but if a melee with STR CON, catches you using movement spells, you will easily eat the bullet. You can't gank someone if you are fast, and he is strong, he will just turn around and kill you. Assuming 1 vs 1 here, and equal playing skills. If you are 2 (or more) vs 1, then no ammount of points matter where they are, several players will always beat 1, no matter how you turn it. There is no escape. Point is if you are kiting spec (hunter) then speed is beneficial, but if you are (warrior) then its better to minmax combat, and use movement spells, to catch up to your target, and slows to prevent him from escaping. The general thing is that everybody (noobs aside) uses mobility based abilities as much as possible. That is quite standard procedure in open world games which has full loot system. If you lack mobility then you can be considered as dead in most of the cases or you are a ganker who does not actually catch anyone. Even most of the 1v1 fight situations ends up for a chase when the losing side escapes, perhaps for good or to make comeback after healing himself. Players who will lack mobility will be easy targets for gankers regardless you have assign points for strenght or constitution. Player who is more mobile can also easily escape the fight if the otherside is too strong. On top of that rogue and hunter classes will anyway bet on dexterity and still be equal strong in PvP when compared for warriors.

If there is collision detection, then no; otherwise, they can fit on the screen and it will look like this. Having collision detection adds a lot of complexity and griefing opportunities, so the second scenario is more plausible. we've been told that players can block others. so i assume it's in the game.

      @Gothix I am not personally familiar with TSW and I presume we are talking about Secret World. Anyway, at the moment in Fractured, I have a feeling that passives does not have a huge role and those concentrate either increase or decrease your effectiveness. And I would personally like it be more so the focus would be in the actions and different ability variations. Passives be 300% of a build sounds terrible tbh.

      @GamerSeuss This thread is from Off Topic section of Forums and its about who is interested to play New World and try out the Beta test phase. My comments were only about New World's beta test and how it lacked different kind of mobs and animals. I guess you missed that but it is okay. We need to keep in mind that Amazon was going to release this version, before they realized that the game is actually unfinished. Therefore, they were going to go live having only a few different kind of mobs and animals. They have basically used the exactly same mob model regardless what is the level of the enemy, therefore, if we think of Amazon Studio's situation it is not acceptable to use the test phase card to make excuses. Moreover, even if we would discuss this about in general, these kind of things should be already in place in beta test phase tbh. However, nowadays it seams that every gaming company has own kind of impression what beta test phase actually means. Beta phase should be about testing the "finished" product, fixing bugs and making some tuning. Only major issues and problems can lead to design something totally new. I guess some gaming companies wants to rush to beta test phase, because pressure from investors behalf or that the situation would look much better what it actually is.

There is this weird delay before character starts to actually finish the part. Character gets back to standing stance and then gets back in to the business. The delay seems to be gone in Build A2.1.2f

      @Gothix On the Hunter advice. I played Hunter from day 2 almost exclusively, (never been an alt person), and for the first year to 18months, it was almost a weekly Buff, Nerf, Buff, Nerf situation. I would raid 1 week and be just topping the Healers in Dps, and a month later "Wow Starion why are you constantly popping Feign death", "Because I can't stop critting and topping aggro". Ahhh Vanilla...... (WoW) !! Not a criticism, just my 2 pence worth. Starion Deltaar salutes you.

      I've just created a thread sugesting additional evolution options. Honestly, the whole racial evolution concept is a very appealing concept and I'd really love to see it expanded further than announced, in due time. Imagine this-you've seen it all, done it all... And all of a sudden, you can become a litch, great! Then you become a litch and you realize that that's not even the end, but only beginning-you can completely discard your bone body and become a creature of pure thought, or maybe a spirit... Or you may constuct yourself a new, better body and transfer your consiousness into it!.. Or maybe you've done all of the above and decided being regular mortal was the best, afterall and so you've went on a gods defying quest, in order to restore your human body. The possibilities are endless.

Now because DS has already shared their vision, does not that mean they are sure? You are right, that SBI did core changes just before Albion release, but those were a design mistakes, not marketing. They tried to fix Outland's city issues with Caerleon concept without understanding all the results, and those results were then acknowledge after release. So there was nothing what they could do better with marketing, related for that happening. You just can not skip marketing in case that you might screw up with something else just before release. That is why it is important to do business and development risk analysis properly, so you can be prepared or avoid possible risk situations. Making core changes to the game just before release and without enough time to test out things right, is a huuuge business and development risk. SBI took that risk and now they have paid of it.

There is so much involved in town conquest and @Sindariya 's suggestion of player organisations will be one part of that. There are few things which comes ahead straight away. What different scales of battles there can be? Timers, from declaration til start? How logistics will be handled? What kind of siege weapons and defensive mechanics there will be? How long the battle takes? How often conquer can be started? Oh boy.. that is huge. Gear system is something I am really interested too. If we can mix abilities and gear freely, it will be a challenge to balance the combat well. How many "tiers" there will be in gear's and how much is exactly the gap between different levels. I know it is planned there won't be heavy tier system, but most certainly there will be at least few steps so players have something more to achieve than jus the basic stuff.

There should be also special animals that could have a stellar/aether/nether theme since they were so long in space and changed. Prometheus mentioned that they have planned to implement different kind of biomes, and which are not always scientific-wise. I personally hope as well to see different biome types rather than those we already have in three main planets. That would make asteroids much more interesting from exploration point of view. Unique animals like you mentioned would make sense as well and that way open access to new resources. Not all animals and creatures needs to be totally new concepts, there can be same animals than in planets, but someway evolved and mold to suite asteroid theme. I personally like to see more scientific approach. It will give you feel that you are actually in asteroid and not just in other world where you travel through portal. What I understood they have planned kind of both and maybe that is good middle road solution and opens more possibilities.

      @Gothix That is good idea too. Especially those beastmen who are targeting for abomination and move to Tartaros could have quests and tasks related to Demon Syndicate. It would make sense that they need to prove their worth to Babilis, and what would be better way than betray your own race and homeland.
