    • RE: Why will the control be based on a mouse?

I'm with Luccheno on this one.

Both sides make valid points here, but until you have a chance to see (and even try), I find it hard to lock into an anti-mouse stance with any solidarity. Plenty of games pull it off just fine.

I haven't played League of Legends in years due to toxicity in the community (at least back when I quit it), but I found many of those matches to be incredibly intense - equally if not more so, than the SMITE matches I play today. On the other hand, I don't feel near the intensity in DoTA 2 as I did in League of Legends shrug

For me I'm open to whatever movement the developers feel best, and will form my opinion when I can see it in action.

    • RE: Open World PVP?

@prometheus said in Open World PVP?:

Alternatively, you can play as a human and go criminal - on Syndesia it will definitely be easier to target players who are less skill in PvP, but you'll have to deal with the law.

Demons definitely interest me - but I would be lying if I didn't admit the allure of dealing with the law on Syndesia - very curious to see just how fleshed out that system becomes and how well it's implemented!

    • RE: Hardware Requirements

Stevechard, the FAQ points out that the goal is "mid-range computers and laptops, including those a few years old".

Until we're at least into an Alpha stage (currently slated for 2018), it's unlikely they'll be able to give any more concrete an answer than that.

    • RE: Lore is IMPORTANT

There have been a few MMOs without classes, such as Albion online that @Knulp mentioned, but they haven't saturated the market yet and are still a very welcome addition that deserves to be expanded upon. That's definitely one of the draws, for sure!

    • RE: Types of armor?

I appreciate the need for a single character who intends to travel to require more than one set of armor. It also opens up the potential for more economic impact of crafters and travelling resource merchants.
