Each of your answers just raises more questions. The survival aspect of Fractured seems to be bigger than I thought. first hunger/thirst, now climate.

Future expansions.
No, this isn't an announcement about future expansions, but still worth the read.

The devs are planning to hire a community manager in the future.

RE: Will there be Raiding/PvE?posted in Questions & Answers
There will be open world dungeons.
Well, Tartaros is a lawless PvP planet and the human planet has full PvP aswell, but with laws in place that you can break. We also know we lose our stuff when we die so I assume that yes, you will risk your stuff. The Beastmen world is most PvE-like. PvP can happen there too but it's apparently very hard for a PvPer because the whole environment supposedly turns against the PvPer.
A while ago, I made a compilation of all answers given by the devs. It might answer some of your questions: https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/145/dungeons-guild-info/3

RE: Paths of Magicposted in Discussions & Feedback
@grimalkin Same here. Since there's no targeting, I assume we'll have to skill-shot our heals just like our damage abilities.
-
RE: Expansions and future contentposted in Questions & Answers
The game isn't even out yet and you're already asking about expansions.
I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't even made a decision about that yet. -
RE: Are you a PVP or PVE player?posted in Discussions & Feedback
@warhard said in Are you a PVP or PVE player?:
@knulp said in Are you a PVP or PVE player?:
Both, i think you can have fun at both. Humans are like, more free to choose, right? Are Beastman more PVE and demons PVP?
Googl translate say:I think you're wrong, because this kind of separation is not welcome in practice and is not practiced. As for all here are answered with the skills rolled on the character.
There's most certainly a difference, the devs wrote a whole spotlight about it. https://fracturedmmo.com/feature-spotlight-1-three-races-three-gameplays/ Beastmen are the most peaceful and can't even attack each other while demons are total anarchy.
-
RE: Are you a PVP or PVE player?posted in Discussions & Feedback
Seems like it yeah, altough PvP is still possible on the beastmen world. Humans can do whatever they want to do but there are laws in place. Demons are just total anarchy.

RE: Did I miss something? No levels !?posted in Questions & Answers
The controls seem to be pretty much like a MOBA. You move around with the mouse, aim your abilities and pewpew. From what i've read, targeting in the traditional fashion isn't even a thing.

RE: Lore is IMPORTANTposted in Discussions & Feedback
Oh yeah I would love to be a simple peasant rather than being the center of attention. It's one of the things I used to love about WoW's starting experience. Your character didn't start as a champion of justice sent down by the gods themselves, but as a simple citizen with a spade for a weapon.

RE: Loot systemposted in Questions & Answers
@lohen I assume Prometheus meant that for example animals drop crafting materials while bandits drop currency.
-
RE: Loot systemposted in Questions & Answers
Yeah, I get what you're saying. I've farmed plenty of mounts in WoW. We'll see if they have anything like that, because Prometheus did talk about special situations.
-
RE: Loot systemposted in Questions & Answers
Well, Prometheus said earlier in this thread monsters mostly drop crafting resources and currency. I don't think they will be dropping potions unless we use potions as a currency or crafting material.

RE: Lore is IMPORTANTposted in Discussions & Feedback
Some people just want to rush to endgame. Not everyone cares about lore as much as we do.

-
RE: What about solo players?posted in Discussions & Feedback
I am very much a solo player aswell. I am not really worried though because if certain activities are group orientated, I'll just treat it as a challenge. I am sure that strolling through the demon world alone is going to be risky, because one might get ganked by a group. This isn't really something that can be fixed through game mechanics unless only one player can attack another player at a time.

RE: Lore is IMPORTANTposted in Discussions & Feedback
I love lore. It is so very important for immersion. Sometimes I read the stories of games I don't play at all. Judging by the stories in the spotlight about the races, the devs certainly haven't forgotten about this. I can't wait to see what else they have in store.

All we know so far is that you lose your stuff when you die:
https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/244/loot-system/3Btw, I made a big compilation thread a few days ago containing many questions and answers. I suggest you take a look because I believe it has many of the answers you seek. https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/266/a-compilation-of-everything-we-know-about-fractured

RE: Healingposted in Questions & Answers
According to Prometheus it's possible to build a build close to the classical trinity roles, so I am pretty certain we can heal/buff and do whatever else we would like to do.

RE: Movementposted in Questions & Answers
It's an isometric click-to-move game, similarly to games like Diablo 3 and Path of Exile.

RE: A compilation of everything we know about Fractured.posted in Discussions & Feedback
@kris said in A compilation of everything we know about Fractured.:
Game looks promising. So this will be a full fledged MMO (and not one of those survival clones we keep seeing popping-up recently).
I especially like that dungeons will not be instanced.
Yeah, it's pretty much a MMO version of games like diablo 3 and PoE from what I've seen. The controls are similiar to those 2 games but the content is like that of a sandbox MMO.
