      well, that is rather disappointing. I guess it would make sense for the higher tier gear tho for humans.

      humans don't stand a chance against demond and beast so they have tech that makes them equal to the other two.

      ye, overall, humans arent very physically strong compared to most other species, both real and fictional. The only reason we have survived so long is our wit and ability to avoid being close up to threats and avoid damage all together... got a wild tiger? throw a net at it, knock it out with a tranquiliser and put it in a cage... cant hurt you then...

      i wonder if the devs will implement something in game as like racial benefits... like humans being intelligent... and able to make traps that are effective against beastfolk... or charms that are effective against the demons. Or on the other hand, the ability to make better stuff for beastfolk to be like companions... or some kind of ritual thing to power up demon companions...

      this is assuming that all 3 races can coexist to an extent and arent all brutally battling it out for territory dominance.

    • The Schroidinger Stone Bug

      I was in a party with 1 other person. I picked up a small stone from the ground and about half way through the animation, my party member picked it up. I finished the animation first and it told me i got +1 stone, but it did not appear in my inventory. Based on what my party member said, I am assuming they didn't pick up the stone, but it also didn't disappear, but they couldn't try to pick it up again. So the stone disappeared, but didn't disappear, but also got picked up and didn't get picked up at the same time. We have a Schroidinger Stone ladies and gentleman.

      if i were to put my 2 cents in, i think the item decay in the minecraft regrowth modpack would be the perfect system. An item has durability, and the more you repair it, gradually, the lower the effectiveness of the repair. So at first it is cheaper to repair an item, but you will eventually have to replace it.

      losing items randomly from your inventory for no damn reason is complete bullshit and i hope it was a bug coz fck was it annoying. I understand it with food, but not 13 seconds after you cook 50 wolf steaks for them to vanish (before you even need to eat just 1!!) like in the alpha... have it go rotten or something, not disappear.

      nothing like farming wolves for 3 hours for wolf teeth to make a necklace... reaching 8 teeth to vanish then 6 to vanish, then 3 to vanish, then 9 to vanish, then finally get the 10 and craft the necklace to have the necklace vanish within 2 seconds leaving u literally no time to put it on...

      The type of item decay that was present in the alpha should not be in the full game... set durability should be the only answer. Have deminishing returns on repairs and BOOM!! everyone is happy. they get to craft their gear and actually use it while still having a need for materials to either repair or replace their gear.

      After all, you can only patch up a pair of jeans so many times before you can't even call them jeans anymore... and they certainly won't vanish from your wardrobe unless your missus/partner throws them out on you while you are at work.

      Your gear will get damaged regardless of if you do PvP or not. So there is no excuse for beastmen that dont PK... coz they will still attack monsters for resources.

      If i might suggest something completely out there from what everyone else has been going on about... the rep system doesnt have to be complex... it could be a scale of 1-100 and you start at 50 (nuetral). the higher your number, the better your rep.

      rep gain could be simply visiting the town daily, helping maintain the town if you choose to, helping yo take down a player with a very low rep, or taking them out on your own.

      ways to loose rep could be looting/stealing from the town, killing another player that doesnt already have a low rep or not visiting for an extended period of time... not visiting would drop it to a minimum of 50... maybe over time, if your rep is low, it could rise back to 50, but 1/4 of speed of dropping from being too high.

      And the reward for having a good rep would be the amount of people you would be able to sell stuff to... i wouldnt want to try and trade someone goods of they had a rep lower than 35... would u?

      I wanna second this. I can also see a way around the objection @Gothix rightly raises to proliferating meaningless titles.

      I'm looking through the lens of the Game of Thrones - Ascent alliance vs alliance cycles, which each had a distinctive name, icon, and set of rewards/titles that players competed to earn. By the time the game ended <deep mourning still going on> I had racked up a selection of titles from which to choose - and I was proud of each of them... e.g. Golden Viper, Royal Executioner, Frozen Hammer, Eagle's Bounty . 💪 🏆 🥇

      There were other titles that players earned by longevity (Elder, for those who had been playing for over 5 years, was esp respected) or in-game prowess. Maybe players who earned x# of Foundation titles in a row by dint of solid, constructive forum participation would reap the coveted Master of Contributions title!

      i wasn't really behind this idea before, but putting it like that advertises it in a really good way. it seems alot more interesting now, even if i wont be able to collect them all.

      some people like myself fail to wrap their head around the new reddit setup since it was changed from its impressive, very simple setup to the new holy fck wtf am i doing and how do i navigate this website setup, about a year ago. If this game forum was based on redit, i probably wouldnt still be following it.

      @islesofurth the only issue with doing that is that it is basically the only way for people to earn points. Those that are doing it for points and dont want to be super supportive have the daily post forum to post in. people like us that actually care about the game, post on all the other forums 🙂

      this seems like a really interesting idea. i reckon maybe have some 'rare drops' that you can only get if you kill a monster in its very last like 5% of its lifetime... thatd give the 'gotta collect em all' players something to really strategise for or hope to get lucky with.

      My opinion on enemy strength is that they should gain damage up till probably 60% of life cap, and become more and more tactical and harder to out-skill up till about 85% of their life peak, while degrading in power for the last 30% of their life.

      So enemies would be hardest by far to kill at around 60-75% of their lifetime, but their drops would also have the highest grade at that point (better leather or meat for wolves or silj for spiders), unless it is say snake venom if they introduce snakes, coz the younger a snake is, the more potent their venon is (not sure if spiders r the same).

      Then of course on the other hand, the older mobs would have aged hides and stuff, which could have a different use... maybe to craft lower tier gear or gear specialised for aomething different to the higher grade leather?

      bouncing off what i said earlier, with the difference in age playing a part, the knowledge system could play a part in that too. at first, you cant tell the difference between the age of something, they all look the same regardless... but as you get to know the species better, you gradually notice small changes and so on. it would take many sprites for the devs tho to do properly... so i would expect if they do implement anything like this, it will be very much part of the full release or some kind of expansion later on. I can't imagine it would be easy to code either, with sprites be player based, instead of world based...

      Unless things have changed since I last actually read the news posts (coz i personally like to figure everything out when I am in the game, rather than read spoiler posts), you will be limited to 1 house per realm (Tartaros, Syndenisia or the other one). I am pretty sure it was account bound, but it is planned in the full version that you will be able to move your plot around. I would assume it would be resetting your plot, instead of teleporting it though. So far, you havn't been able to move you plot or take a second one at all.
