      @Prometheus I have been running round the map for a while now. Screen is a bit jumpy as I move. I remembered this post and took a screenshot of task manager for you.

      This is also only the early stages of the screen jumpiness. It only gets worse and worse the longer you keep playing. Seemingly exponentially. I will leave my game running, get some dinner, then continue. Will post a screenshot after it gets real bad.

      I can understand it not working on mobs. coz it would be highly exploitable... but why even give players the option to cast it on mobs?

    • Blight Skill.

      I tested Blight out (the necrotic disease skill). I tried targetting a player with it and I was told that the player was an invalid target. I cast it on NPC monsters and the ones that aren't immune to it, don't have any effects from it, other than the purple debuff mist. HP doesn't go down at all. The skill literally does nothing but consume 300 mana and give a monster a sweet cosmetic purple hue.

      I just tested it again, on a different red player, and it worked. I can only assume the first red player still had young protection? Why can a red player have young protection?

      @Honeybadgerr I have seen some games have a PvP taunt, where players can only target the tank. if they tried to attack other party members, it wouldn't work.

      @Mirgannel12 That is True Neutral. Not Chaotic Neutral. Neutral Good would be attacking nothing, even if attacked.

      @Mirgannel12 This is a great idea in theory... But I feel it would be alot harder in practice. Not all attributes have the same worth. It costs 3 point in character cration to go from 6-7, 7-8, 15-16 and 16-17. It costs 4 points to go from 17-18. 8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15 all cost only 2 points. A player can also start with all stats at a base of 6 if they wish. What room to swap points around would that leave them?

      @Mirgannel12 google says Neutral does mean impartial. Also, take note. I said it would be "Chaotic Nuetral" if I was killing everything.

      @Mirgannel12 neutral doesn't actually have an opposite. Neutral is the complete middle ground. You don't take ally/enemy into consideration. everyone is equal. Killing everything can be considered Chaotic Neutral. You aren't favoring anyone or anything over anyone or anything else. Everything dies reguardless or status, rank, race, social standing, etc.

      True neutral would be attacking those that attacked you first.

      @RedIO It's actually not that short really. I was in a squad and had someone die. We guarded their corpse, as we couldn't loot it to take their stuff back to them. I reckon we watched it for about 15 mins and it still hadn't despawned.

      A citizen chat would help you find which city you became a citizen of though. The only thing you can do at this point, is run around to every city and check manually.

    • My thoughts on karma and 'justice'

      I am sorta split on this test in terms of PvP. So many people are butthurt for being ganked. Gankers are butthurt for being punished for being killed for ganking others. Alot of players don't seem to think ahead with where they are going, in terms of PvP threat, getting themselves killed, because they either are used to previous tests, where PvP was opt-in and a non-threat, or they don't want to deal with PvP in the first place?

      By choosing the places I go to farm carefully, I have all but avoided all PvP and ganking, because, if you think about it and plan ahead, it's pretty easy to determine where PvP is going to be an issue. The map even calls them 'hotspots'. Seems self explanatory if you ask me...

      BUT!! I also feel some of the changes I have heard about are rediculous. I feel like Karma resetting when you go to prison, makes 0 sense whatsoever. If a criminal irl goes to prison... they are kept tabs on for the rest of their life, in case it happens again.

      I also feel that the whole Shrine thing is stupid. Having taverns as respawn points was amazing. You could do it anywhere. You didn't need to find a city that actually decided to spend a tech point on it (which i don't even know if any did, besides Duath). Choosing your Karma is stupid as well. It should be Dynamic like the game is supposed to be. I should be able to go from good to evil to good to evil based on my actions. Not by the click of a few buttons on a building.

      I don't remember where I posted it... but I feel like city based tech is stupid. It should be player based instead, so each individual person can specialise. Players should be able to do quests or something to unlock personal research points, based on the rank of the city they are part of (whether it be resident or citizen). There is too much stuff being locked behind a wall, that I feel shouldn't be there in the first place.

      I also feel that if a player has too low a karma when they are caught... they should NOT be able to be bailed out.
      The cost of bail should also change based on how 'dangerous' they are. Lower karma = higher cost (until their karma gets too low and can't be bailed at all).

      @Ignator Actually... you are wrong. The skill was never intended to be able to be used to scale cliffs to begin with. That was a bug on its' own. This patch, fixing this, will also reduce the amount of exploits players have been using to get to places they shouldn't be able to.

      @Biglulu I was thinking the exact same thing. A 10 second timer, where if they either attack a player, or get attacked by a player they have attacked, it resets, even inside city limits.

      @Galtakie you already can put chests outside your house if there is space for them. If you want to store wood or coal, you can always use a cart or wagon.

      @yneternum weight isn't supposed to be realistic with all things. Is it a different weight for the other stones? Some item weights are based on value.

      @Prometheus This should be described somewhere in-game (like, in the character creation menu)... as so, so many players don't know what luck does. I only know what it does personally, because I have done testing with luck in every test. The majority of people only see it as a 'dump' stat, because animal taming isn't implemented and neither is 2/3 of the charisma talent tree.

      @KirwinHansel It's possible you had some issues while downloading it. I responded to a post similar to this a while ago, telling someone to try reinstalling... and it worked perfectly for them! I would suggest you try redownloading the game, if you havn't been deterred too much already 🙂
