      XD i dont think you can tower defence even with 100 meat shields when you can only play 1 of them at a time... i hope like fck that there isnt any auto bot implemented in this game... that would be a MAJOR turn away for me at the very least...

      The bought items will become permanently bonded to your account, as you noticed all of them are pets or cosmetics things, so there is no need for a later refund. πŸ™‚

      just means, no refunds.

      which is good πŸ™‚ would waste the devs time if they had to do extra coding just to make sure that everyone got all their gold back without having any bugs either completely removing all of a players gold or doubling other players gold... no refunds = no extra potential unneccissary bugs.

      @Jetah please learn english some more... coz all you do is repeat the same thing over and over... providing useless posts in the thread because you "don't understand" what we are saying, despite us explaining it in 5 different ways... if u r just gonna spam.... go somewhere else pls. coz like @Gothix said... it is as if u r trolling at this point... the thread is for potential ideas for the devs (if they check this) for stuff they can implement for us to put on our plots of lands. (if u really r legit... here is a hint... a trophy is a momento of achieving a typically difficult task...)

      I was talking exclusively about hard "challenge" mobs. Nowhere I have said every easy mob would drop it.

      The meaning of challenge is that it's hard, and you have to do it solo without help, and only then, you get the head, that's bound to you.

      I don't understand what is not logical about this. It would be some hard monsters around the world, that would reward the solo kill with cosmetic. People could still group up to kill them and get their normal loot, but no cosmetic reward in that case.

      i dont understand the point of putting head drops in solo content when the game is a massively multiplayer. put these cosmetics in group content. which would also mean that the group has to run it multiple times so everyone gets a head!

      in DAoC, it was a realm boss requiring 100-200 players to kill it while it only dropped 5 (iirc) copies of the head.

      we already told u what the point would be... twice...

      @Jetah i dont think it will work that way... they look more like loot chests in games that are there to draw in tonnes of money from people trying to get super rare drops.

      "Hunting trophy" house decorations would be cool, to show off that you managed to kill those "hard monsters".

      Decorations that drop from hard monsters should be bound when picked up (to the person that actually made the kill, not loot-able by random passer by), and should only drop if kill was made solo (no other damage on mob detected, no external healing on player who made the kill detected).

      solofriendly does not mean everything in game is soloable, or everything in game can be collected/killed/achieved with out being in a group.

      The entire fractured world is built on player to player interaction

      People are going to have to group interact guild trade and be part of the world to experience (and loot) everything in game

      the challenge is to kill it alone. you wouldnt be able to get the drop if you grouped up, if it was done the way @Xzoviac said it could be. The whole idea is that you would need to master the horizontal progression aspect of the game to be able to kill bosses you would potentially normally need a group to kill in the first place.

      drops shouldn't bind to the account. they should be a risk if you keep them.

      ye. pretty sure thia is the idea the devs r going for... and if u qant to have 0 risk of losing your loot and gear, play on the beast-people planet.

      Actually i hope it wont be possible to build a town solo, unless you create additional characters.
      That would kind of defeat the entire purpose of the system.

      i would aggree. 1 person per house would be logical. towns were meant to be for guilds after all werent they?

      Why do you think beast towns should be more spread out?

      Maybe because beasts live in separate subcultures, while humans are all one race.

      i would expect it coz beasts are typically considered tribal... like goblins, rather than communal, like humans.

      My guess is, it's gonna be similar to how crafting was back in SWG. Your crafting materials will have effectiveness percentage and crafted item's effectiveness would depend on material's quality, in addition to crafter's skill.

      Yeah, I have made lots of guesses as well, but the reason I asked for an answer from the Developers was because I wasn't satisfied with my guess, or anyone else. So I await an answer from them.

      even then, the devs are pretty busy, you shouldnt only rely on responses from them. sure, they might be more insightfull/accurate/definate... but if they are too busy answering everyones random questions, they wont have time to develop the game. we are a community for a reason...

      @islesofurth if not for the daily post, i dont think i would be active in the forums at all. i am sure alot of other people are the same. at first, i didnt post much stuff and alot of my posts were in the daily post, but for quite a while now, i have avoided the daily post thread. i try to post stuff that is useful and the devs sometimes think it is, or i wouldnt have won a few of the weekly draws... all because there was soneyhing pushing me to post in the first place.

      all the people that post in dail post and spam will be losing out, because they will never have a chance to win bonus points through the weekly reward things, coz they never post anything useful.

      sure, it isnt good there are people that never commit properly in the first place, but there will be people like that regardless of what u do.

      bouncing off what i said earlier, with the difference in age playing a part, the knowledge system could play a part in that too. at first, you cant tell the difference between the age of something, they all look the same regardless... but as you get to know the species better, you gradually notice small changes and so on. it would take many sprites for the devs tho to do properly... so i would expect if they do implement anything like this, it will be very much part of the full release or some kind of expansion later on. I can't imagine it would be easy to code either, with sprites be player based, instead of world based...

      But the fact of the matter is that baby venomous snakes are not more venomous than their parents. In fact, quite the opposite is true in a great many snake species; adults have far more virulent venom than the young snakes. sauce

      I like the idea that naturally aged hide being used for different thing or different qualities or offering different stats. this lets a group of animals age naturally or the player can age the hide.

      you clearly missed the entire section on neonate venomous snake species... here in Australia, almost all snakes are more deadly when they are young. It's a hell of a lot more risky to kill a baby snake here than an adult one.

      this seems like a really interesting idea. i reckon maybe have some 'rare drops' that you can only get if you kill a monster in its very last like 5% of its lifetime... thatd give the 'gotta collect em all' players something to really strategise for or hope to get lucky with.

      My opinion on enemy strength is that they should gain damage up till probably 60% of life cap, and become more and more tactical and harder to out-skill up till about 85% of their life peak, while degrading in power for the last 30% of their life.

      So enemies would be hardest by far to kill at around 60-75% of their lifetime, but their drops would also have the highest grade at that point (better leather or meat for wolves or silj for spiders), unless it is say snake venom if they introduce snakes, coz the younger a snake is, the more potent their venon is (not sure if spiders r the same).

      Then of course on the other hand, the older mobs would have aged hides and stuff, which could have a different use... maybe to craft lower tier gear or gear specialised for aomething different to the higher grade leather?
