They where packed with bonus cosmetics and gold characters slots vip carpenters bonuses.

yeah i guess the rewards will be added later, especially since at least one person has admitted to cheating in the past and hacking the website (not 100% on the details just remember reading people talking about it), so they will likely want to go threw the accounts, and check peoples foundation has been gained legitimately

in other games iv backed 100s of £, if they dont have a ingame bug report, I don't go out of my way to post on the forum.

Iv tried to help with feedback and bug reports and suggestions.

The foundation has helped build a intrest in the forums, if if wasnt there

definitely want to second this emotion. Nothing against anime (or Tolkien) per se, but with a world full of so many cultures to mine for tropes, hanging ten on the anime wave (or previous nordic-heavy fantasy realms) doesn't feature our devs' creativity the way adding the coolest costumes/weapons/mythos from less 'mined' areas would.

Personally The theme I Like best is H. P. Lovecraft.
Some of the best monsters, are spawned from his Lore.

we are supposed to be getting weekend test events because they are skipping Alpha 1 part 3 test phase, to catch back up to the road map, the first one is supposed to be at the end of this month.

but the gm said although they still pan to have the test weekend so we can play again, it will be the same ingame version, apart from having a new Installer/client that will need testing

The kickstarter and crowdfunding is like a here have my money I want this game to succeed, if them lowering the price increases the chance the game will succeed it means your money is not wasted

Companies always keep their stakeholders updated on what is going on. DS even has a person whose job it is to do this. I think they only want to post when they have content updates or actually have news and this spartial os, port is screwing them over.

I'm trying a new thing here - paying up front for the whole game, with a level field and lots of room for variety and creativity.

Yeah I donated s bit more then I normally do but I wanted the infinate vip, hope it pays off.

I was just saying this statement is pretty false for mmos. Most have cosmetics and convenience items. Which I think is completely worth it to keep out enchanted equipment and gem rolls haha

Ideally a subscription model would be nice. But since DS started selling packs without requiring a sub, that would be quite the can of worms to open.

The vip is a sub, and if it needed to pull more people in you could always have a little more convenience like a extra crafting bag

No. I think you will notice that I mentioned a true sub model is not possible at this time. It would have had to be a discussion before any packs were ever sold

A true sub model involves a monthly subscription to pay for the base game and all updates. There is no VIP, no convenience items, but there could still be cosmetics

But they could make the vip almost mandatory like eso does with the infinite crafting bag.

Not that I'm suggesting they do it's would be fairly scummy

the sub model is dead. in the last 5 years all sub games had to switch to a f2p or vip style system to survive. the only exception is FFXIV, and it had a huge following. we're now at a point where FFXIV is 6 years so that doesn't even count.

Warframe and Path of Exile have done great with their respective systems, however, neither have PvP where you can loot a corpse. PoE at least has cosmetic with some storage options. Warframe allows anyone to farm then trade for shop currency.

And world of warcraft I dont mind subs I will take it over pay 2 win anyway, but if I gotta sub i expect good ingame customer service like wow.

No other company has done the customer service with in game gms as well as wow has, even if its game has become pretty meh in recent years
