a blueprint for food, consist of 1 or more items, when combined, produce a specific result. no different than building anything else.

you're a detailed person and you see each blade of grass despite being inside a forest but you'll still argue it's a lawn.

their foundation is the same and the result is the same.

I wouldn't argue it's a lawn a lawn is in front of a house, or back, I may call it a field providing it is in a open area, but If not I would likely argue it's just the Forrest floor.

In short a blueprint is something used to design something

A recipe is a combination of individual items to create something new

you follow a blueprint to build a house, you've just followed a procedure or plan to get it.
you follow a recipe to make taco sauce, you've followed a procedure or plan to get it.

that website was trying to make blueprints seem smart but really they're just similar.

They are different words for a reason, recipe is a group of ingredients put together to make something new, be it food medications whatever

A Blueprint is a plan or a layout, normally to create a house non living vehicle, or multilayered plan like a heist

I get it they are similar, but they are not the same thing, you do not use blueprints to create living creatures.

You generally dont even use a recipe to create living creatures unless using alchemy (if you have watched full metal alchemist you will know how tricky this is)

A demonic shamanic or warlock spell may summon a creature demon, element so on, and require a recipe, you would likely refer to this process as a summoning Spell (because it requires magic)

The only time a recipe would be used to create LIVING creatures is likely in alchemy

At no point ever in any fantasy I know of is the word blueprint used by mortals to create life (a living breathing mount)

Possibly a God would use a blueprint to design the first life they create, even then that activity would be considered Divine magic,
You would not have been created from the blueprints you would have been DESIGNED
The Divine magic will have created you

Blueprint is just not the right word for creating Life, and is why I said steampunk machines could be made this way ....

Iv personally spent about £300 on fractured, and if the devs suddenly changed the feel of the game just to pander to 0.1% in some misguided attempt at making more money,
Then they will definitely lose me as a customer.

Not because I care if beastmen are called beastlings, but because I care that a tiny group of people can manipulate the game

I dont mind a new race suggestion that works with your world view and fits with the lore.
But changing the world just because you want it (and the devs actually listening)
Would make me lose faith in this company completely

Real life politics has no place in fantasy games.

The fractured world has it's own Lore, and its not part of the messed up world views of a small percentage.

Women and men and beasts Male and female are what exist in this world

For example Just because you sexually identify as a rock, does not mean that the fractured world need to change its lore to suit your political ideology

If something is magically created it either needs to be summoned or needs to be a golum summoned creatures surely consume mana or disappear, just because a world has magic does not mean it shouldn't have rules

Instead of blueprints if they where summoning scrolls that bring the mount, that would be fine

blueprints should not be for living creatures

I think blueprints of mounts would be weird unless they are steampunk tanks or something actually craftable but legendary items that can be created but limited would be cool

@Esher yeah just not to many if everyone has a super rare unicorn for example that there is only suppose to be 10 left (Making up lore)
Then it ruins some of the feel of the lord imo,
A unique red fire unicorn could basically be the same as a normal non rare version but a glow and tint, but the lore and rarity make it cool (and extra little effects)

I hope there will be rare legendary creatures we can turn in to mounts, maybe even single legendary mounts only one person can find, but if it's not fed or ridden in say 3 months it escapes for someone else to find and catch

but any frost mage spells can freeze the water so players can walk on so while you're right it isn't always the case.

I'd love to see professions offer a way to make bridges of different materials to traverse water, valleys, etc.
rope bridges that could be upgraded to small wooden plank that are upgraded to full wooden bridges, as examples. Now if they could be destroyed!!! \o/

I wonder if fire could dry up a lake , or cause gaps in the flow of a river

@gabrinoel I had this problem when going threw PayPal it thought I had been hacked and restricted me, I had to text them to say it was my transaction to unlock the account then try again

in BDO you get a hp bar but you dont see its hp or dmg, until you have killed the monster enough to understand its hp bar, i like this system

If Crafting had a infinite skill level and could just keep going up and up, the truly dedicated crafters on one item could find them selves making a profit, for example , you could only make shoes

everyone would know the shoes "cobbler joe" makes are the best shoes with the best stats and so can charge the most money, yeah cobbler tilly can make level 1000 boots with great stats but cobbler joes boots are 3000 and cost 15x more with just enough increase in stats to make it worth while

(obviously these items would need balancing)- if it cant easily be balanced with number changes, skill choices or glows/cosmetic changes could possibly make items as valuable
