Since Alpha 1, there have been several changes in the effect of the different attributes you can choose.

As it will most likely change again before going live, I only made a simple chart to give you an idea of how things affect your character at the moment.

How to read/translate this. Every attribute shows the changes with putting a certain amount of points into it (with the rest of the stats at 10).

Some attributes affect certain stat together.

*For example: Carry weight is affected by STR and CON.

If you have STR at 6 and CON at 6 the total weight you can carry is 62KG

Calculation: 70 KG (from STR at 6) minus the difference between CON 10 and 6 (8 KG) because the 70 from STR 6 is a combination of STR 6 and CON 10, which you have to correct.

If you have STR at 18 and CON at 18 the total weight you can carry is 146KG

Calculation: 130KG (from STR at 18) plus the difference between CON 18 and 10 (16 KG) because the 130 from STR 18 is a combination of STR 180 and CON 10, which you have to correct*

As we have to make a choice where to put our stat points directly at creating the character, I thought it would come in handy if more information was available.

I have made an overview of the effects in numbers (positive > 10 and negative < 10) and the modifiers which get affected

It's only a first rough version (obvious work in progress) as some things might change and Demons and Beastman are not available yet.

For those who have not read it yet, I would recommend reading the linked 2 news articles first for a basic outlining of the attributes and what their purpose is regarding skills.

For example
If you have STR, DEX and CON all 3 at lvl 18, you will get the basic value of STR, DEX and CON (lvl 10) which is 1600. On top of that, you get 800 endurance (the difference between lvl 18 STR en lvl 10 STR)+ 240 from the difference between lvl 18 and lvlv 10 DEX + another 240 for the difference in CON. Makes a total of 2880.
Decreasing the lvl below 10 means you have to withdraw the value.

Not all stats seems to add up in an exact matter. This might be due to a cap or because numbers are rounded in the UI.

This is based on my current knowledge of the game, so please correct me, or adjust more info if you can.

As far as I am aware, there are only 15 (corrected by @Roccandil 46 of max 47 silly me !) Governor Pledge packs in total. For 3 planets If we start with only 1 global Server. (If we start with an EU and NA server that would immediately double the possible town plots)

Even that would leave enough room for more towns to be established by Governors, not having a Governor pledge pack. You don't need a Governor pack to become a Governor of a town.

When the player base will grow, more servers will become available and so fort and so fort.

10 Governors in 1 Guild would be a waste IMHO, as you would also have to maintain 10 Towns then to have all the benefits. That would need a lot of players in your Guild.

Very hard to say right now. There were very limited skills/spells to choose from in Alpha 1.

There were only 2 healings skills available then, both on a long cd.

The amount of skills/spells will be huge though, so we have to wait for further tests to get a real clue.

this post is about attribute resets. obviously, which seems to be going over your head, that we could change the attributes within the race selected!

If I had created a Blood Demon with the intentions of going the caster way (with a +3 max cap on INT) and after a while I would rather go for a melee build (which a Hellfire Demon is far more suited for with a +3 cap in STR and CON) just an attribute reset would be nice, but for PvP it would still be sub-optimal and no PvP-er in its right mind would not rebuild then. Same goes for Beastmen, although it will feel less painful if they avoid PvP, then again, it would be a sub-par build.

So just an attribute change is nice for the occasional mistake at the start, but for a real change of playstyle, you need a change of sub-race as well (or rebuild what people try to avoid apparently).

Account Guard also thinks that I try to log into the website from an unknown IP adress in the 94.46.144.32-36 range an IP adress in the US of A,. But as I have no VPN or anything like that. I would say something went wrong with the account migration/connection between Dynamight and Gamigo.

I can perfectly log into the forum, so apparently no fuck-up there ?

@THH Although I understand your suggestion it would "force" people like myself to play a game for a lot of hours in a state I don't really "like" the game.

I spend already an extreme amount of money on this game and many, many hours in the alpha fase, but now (as a PvE player) am I waiting for the Wildfolk planet.

As a Completitionist it would bug the hell out of me, that I would be forced to play this game doing things I don't like in the first place, but at some point in the live version might have to do for getting specific materials, not for having all kind of Achievements like WoW and the like.

Achievements were not planned in this game in the first place, and I would rather not have them at all. Getting through the Foundation levels was already a hassel.

I "needed" those items, but at this point a bit tired of people who are just jumping the train close to the end station and expecting to be rewarded for the hours they are spending right now.
